Esta obra beneficiará a más de 83 mil ciudadanos de 436 localidades, quienes tendrán acceso a la electricidad las 24 horas del día, y también implica la ampliación de la frontera eléctrica para cumplir la meta de alcanzar el 96 por ciento de cobertura de electrificación rural al año 2023.

Al advertir que en los últimos días se ha buscado circular el rumor de que renunciaría al cargo y vincularlo con actos ilícitos, el mandatario remarcó que su gobierno se ha propuesto enfrentar la corrupción, que le quita al país cerca de 22 mil millones de soles cada año.

El jefe del Estado reiteró su pedido a la Organización de los Estados Americanos (OEA) para activar la Carta Democrática Interamericana, de modo que ese grupo minoritario entienda que a la mayoría se le respeta.

“Llamo al pueblo a defender la democracia, a defender el país, a seguir luchando, vamos a resolver los grandes problemas del país”, manifestó.
