Acompañado por los ministros de Defensa, José Gavidia; de Transportes y Comunicaciones, Nicolás Bustamante; y de Vivienda, Construcción y Saneamiento, Geiner Alvarado; el mandatario llegó esta mañana a Lambayeque para cumplir una agenda de trabajo que incluyó la inauguración de obras de infraestructura de cuatro instituciones educativas de esta región.
“Cuántos compatriotas contemporáneos se han visto frustrados por no tener una educación, por no tener primaria, secundaria y tener muy lejana la oportunidad de llegar a la universidad”, anotó al inaugurar la obra de rehabilitación de la infraestructura de la Institución Educativa Inicial N° 037 “Virgen de la Luz”, que beneficiará a 100 alumnos y alumnas. Este colegio se ubica en el pueblo joven 9 de Octubre, en el distrito de Chiclayo, en la provincia del mismo nombre.
Al convocar al magisterio para revalorar la carrera docente, reafirmó que “aquí tienen un maestro presidente que dará todo su esfuerzo para que los profesores vuelvan a ser los segundos padres de la patria”.
TRATAR BIEN A LOS NIÑOS
El jefe del Estado subrayó la importancia de que los niños y niñas sean bien tratados no solo en el aula, sino también por parte de las autoridades regionales y locales, así como por los congresistas y ministros de Estado.
“Tratarlos bien significa darles educación, que ninguno se quede sin matrícula, que estén bien alimentados dentro y fuera del aula, que el barrio sea seguro, que no haya delincuentes; tratarlos bien significa que haya domicilios, asentamientos humanos sin problemas de agua y desagüe”, enfatizó.
En otro momento, el presidente Castillo destacó la labor que realiza la Autoridad para la Reconstrucción con Cambios y que 70 colegios ya hayan sido entregados y puestos al servicio de la región Lambayeque. En esa línea, anotó que 630 colegios ya han sido concluidos y otros 500 se encuentran en plena construcción a nivel nacional.
Asimismo, señaló que a las instituciones educativas sin agua hay que dotarlas de este recurso y que si no cuentan con personal hay que hacer un esfuerzo para dar el presupuesto respectivo, a fin de brindar la mejor atención a los alumnos.
El mandatario sostuvo que las aulas tienen que estar abiertas sin distinción de apellidos, de razas, de situación económica.
“Nos han enseñado que cuando llega un gobierno provinciano, rural, lo quieren mirar y desde un principio han optado por discriminarlo. Eso lo tenemos que acabar en el país. Todos estamos en la capacidad de asumir, bajo esta Constitución, una responsabilidad que esta sociedad nos ha entregado”, afirmó.
Tras instar a los ministros a atender siempre a las autoridades regionales y locales, reiteró que la deuda que tiene el Estado con el pueblo en materia de infraestructura educativa asciende a 111 mil millones de soles y que la deuda social con los maestros es de 33 mil millones de soles.
“Lejos de estar pensando en otra cosa, deberíamos estar pensando en pagar la deuda interna al país, para que los pueblos tengan agua, salud, educación”, puntualizó.
En la ceremonia estuvieron presentes la directora ejecutiva de la Autoridad para la Reconstrucción con Cambios, Amalia Moreno; y el alcalde provincial de Chiclayo, Marcos Gasco.
El presidente Castillo también inauguró la obra de mejoramiento del servicio de educación inicial en la Institución Educativa Inicial N° 445 “Bodegones”, que se ubica en el distrito de Lambayeque, en la provincia del mismo nombre.
Asimismo, participó en las inauguraciones de las obras de recuperación del Local Escolar N° 11572 “Mochica” y de rehabilitación de la Institución Educativa N° 10169 “Señor de la Divina Misericordia”, que se ubican en el distrito de Mórrope, provincia de Lambayeque.

At another time, President Castillo highlighted the work carried out by the Authority for Reconstruction with Changes and that 70 schools have already been delivered and placed at the service of the Lambayeque region. Along these lines, he noted that 630 schools have already been completed and another 500 are under construction nationwide.
Likewise, he pointed out that educational institutions without water must be provided with this resource and that if they do not have personnel, an effort must be made to give the respective budget, in order to provide the best attention to students.

After urging the ministers to always attend to the regional and local authorities, he reiterated that the debt that the State has with the people in terms of educational infrastructure amounts to 111 billion soles and that the social debt with teachers is 33 thousand million suns.
“Far from thinking of anything else, we should be thinking of paying the country’s internal debt, so that the peoples have water, health, education,” he pointed out.
