“Seguimos trabajando con el mismo esfuerzo del primer día, para tener un Perú desarrollado, competitivo, con mejores oportunidades, con equidad, entre todos los peruanos”, aseveró el premier durante el evento que se llevó a cabo en el Palacio de los Deportes de dicha región.

Además, aseguró que el Gobierno que lidera el presidente de la República, Pedro Castillo Terrones, hace todo su esfuerzo por el progreso del país; y reafirmó que a través de los Consejos de Ministros Descentralizados se ejerce la democracia directa, ya que la población toma las decisiones junto con el Poder Ejecutivo.

“Este Consejo de Ministros Descentralizado es un espacio de diálogo y concertación que tiene la finalidad de trabajar la Agenda de Desarrollo Territorial, priorizando las demandas del territorio para el cierre de brechas de desigualdad a favor de la población tumbesina”, manifestó.

En ese sentido, refirió que se pone énfasis en la situación de la educación, en lo básico regular y en nivel universitario, así como en la atención de las postas médicas y los hospitales, en infraestructura en general, así como en el tema de la inseguridad ciudadana.

Cabe recordar que Tumbes ha sido afectada por el fenómeno El Niño, al igual que otras regiones costeras del norte; sin embargo, a pesar de los esfuerzos de la Autoridad para la Reconstrucción con Cambios (ARCC) aún hay temas pendientes y por eso se identificarán las necesidades prioritarias para su atención.

El jefe del Gabinete Ministerial indicó que para Tumbes se ha realizado una transferencia de 12 millones de soles para atender temas de infraestructura en el centro de salud de Zarumilla, pistas y veredas en el distrito de Papayal, así como la institución educativa Divino Niño de Aguas Verdes.

“Si ya se está haciendo esa transferencia, toca a las autoridades locales comenzar a trabajar intensamente, a ejecutar bien el gasto, a combatir severamente la corrupción. Ni un céntimo puede ir a parar a manos corruptas”, recalcó el jefe del Gabinete Ministerial.

Comentó que estas inversiones en el sector público generan empleo para más peruanos e incentiva a la empresa privada para que haga lo mismo. “En el Perú practicamos la economía social de mercado, que está en la Constitución, y eso garantiza plenamente a las empresas pequeñas, medianas o grandes que realicen sus actividades económicas libremente”, enfatizó.

Recordó que el Perú es un país agrícola y minero, y por ello se está evaluando, con los ministerios de Agricultura y Economía, mecanismos para adquirir rápidamente la urea, requerida como fertilizante, y venderla a un precio social. “Allí vamos a tener que presentar un proyecto de ley al Congreso y pedimos a nuestro Parlamento que ese tema lo atienda con prioridad”, exhortó.

La jornada contó con la participación del presidente Pedro Castillo, la vicepresidenta de la República y titular de Desarrollo e Inclusión Social, Dina Boluarte; así como los ministros de Turismo y Comercio Exterior, Relaciones Exteriores, Defensa, Economía y Finanzas, Justicia y Derechos Humanos, Educación, Salud, Agricultura y Riego, Producción, Energía y Minas, Transportes y Comunicaciones, Ambiente, Cultura, Vivienda, Construcción y Saneamiento, y Mujer y Poblaciones Vulnerables.

Además, participaron el gobernador regional de Tumbes, José Antonio Alemán, los alcaldes provinciales, la directora ejecutiva de la Autoridad para la Reconstrucción con Cambios, Amalia Montero, y representantes de las organizaciones de la sociedad civil.
