En representación de la titular del Poder Judicial, Elvia Barrios Alvarado (quien está en viaje de trabajo en la República de Corea del Sur) participaron en la sesión el asesor del despacho de la Presidencia del Poder Judicial, Fernando Alarcón Díaz, y el presidente de la Corte Superior de Justicia de La Libertad, Giammpol Taboada Pilco.
En la Unidad de Flagrancia trabajarán en un solo local de manera articulada el Ministerio Público, Policía Nacional, la Defensoría Pública (Minjus) y Poder Judicial, para investigar, procesar y sancionar en forma rápida y efectiva los delitos comunes, y así contrarrestar el problema de la inseguridad ciudadana.
Asimismo, a propuesta del Poder Judicial, se acordó la realización de la segunda sesión del Conasec 2022 en la ciudad de Trujillo.
Las autoridades que participaron en esta sesión también acordaron comprometer a las instituciones del sistema de administración de justicia para coordinar con los gobiernos locales y regionales, a fin de obtener inmuebles destinados a la implementación de las Unidades de Flagrancia en el país.
Esta primera sesión ordinaria del Conasec 2022 contó, además, con la participación del presidente del Consejo de Ministros, Aníbal Torres, y de los ministros de Transportes y Comunicaciones, Comercio Exterior y Turismo, Defensa, Justicia y Derechos Humanos, de la Mujer y Poblaciones Vulnerables, el comandante general de la Policía Nacional, el jefe del Comando Conjunto, defensora del Pueblo (e), un representante de la Municipalidad de Lima, el viceministro de Economía y el presidente de la AMPE.
