“El Gobierno ratifica su total apoyo a la promoción del deporte, pero también al turismo que se promoverá en la región de Ayacucho, en el marco de los próximos Juegos Bolivarianos 2024. Este evento deportivo es una oportunidad para mejorar las infraestructuras deportivas y crear oportunidades de trabajo”, remarcó, tras recordar que el pasado 14 de mayo entregó la carta de garantía al Comité Olímpico Peruano para realizar este importante evento deportivo.
En otro momento, garantizó que se trabajará para generar las condiciones de tener un evento de primer nivel. “Garantizamos el rol del Estado para generar las condiciones y este evento sea de primer nivel. Alentamos a la unión de todos los peruanos para vivir una fiesta del deporte desde el 6 al 15 de diciembre de 2024”, indicó.
No obstante, el mandatario, dijo que las autoridades de dicha localidad jugarán un rol importante para que el evento sea exitoso. “No se trata solo de organizar un evento deportivo, sino de usarlo como un proyecto más ambicioso en el país”, subrayó.
Agregó “este evento dinamizará la economía y pondrá a Ayacucho en los ojos del mundo”.
Finalmente, el jefe de Estado, refirió que para los Juegos Bolivarianos del Bicentenario Ayacucho 2024 se espera contar con más de 2 mil deportistas y siete delegaciones de países vecinos que competirán en las disciplinas de ajedrez, atletismo, aeromodelismo, básquet, fisicoculturismo, frontón, futsal, gimnasia, levantamiento de pesas, karate, patinaje, skateboarding, taekwondo, entre otros.
El evento se realizó en Palacio de Gobierno y contó además con la participación del ministro de Educación, Rosendo Serna; el presidente del Comité Olímpico Peruano, Renzo Manyari; el presidente del Instituto Peruano del Deporte, Enrique Pérez Zevallos; el alcalde de la municipalidad distrital de Huamanga, Yuri Gutiérrez Gutiérrez y el alcalde del distrito de Puyusca, Yoni Reyes Anampa.

At another time, he guaranteed that work will be done to generate the conditions to have a first-class event. “We guarantee the role of the State to generate the conditions and this event is of the first level. We encourage the union of all Peruvians to live a sports festival from December 6 to 15, 2024”, he indicated.

Finally, the head of state, said that for the Bolivarian Games of the Bicentennial Ayacucho 2024 it is expected to have more than 2,000 athletes and seven delegations from neighboring countries that will compete in the disciplines of chess, athletics, model aircraft, basketball, bodybuilding, fronton, futsal, gymnastics, weightlifting, karate, skating, skateboarding, taekwondo, among others.
