Así lo expresó en la víspera, la presidenta del Poder Judicial, durante el acto de implementación del Expediente Judicial Electrónico (EJE) y la Mesa de Partes Electrónica (MPE) en la subespecialidad en violencia contra las mujeres y en procesos civiles que aplican la oralidad, en la Corte de La Libertad.

Barrios Alvarado recalcó, asimismo, que su gestión viene impulsando una profunda transformación digital a través de dos grandes proyectos: el EJE Penal y el EJE No Penal, que son desarrollados con presupuesto asignado por el Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (BID) y el Banco Mundial.

Además, destacó que la institución ha desarrollado un notable avance en el servicio de justicia con la implementación de la oralidad civil.

“Hoy estamos aplicando la MPE y el EJE, lo que representa una mejora para el servicio que brindamos, porque otorga celeridad, transparencia a los procesos y, además, trabajamos de manera ecoeficiente, con cero papel”, sostuvo.

ORALIDAD
A su vez, el juez supremo Héctor Lama More, presidente del Equipo Técnico Institucional de Implementación de la Oralidad Civil, destacó que los procesos civiles que vienen aplicando la oralidad, tienen un trámite sencillo y dinámico, y que la tecnología ayuda a reducir su duración y otorgar transparencia.

Resaltó también que 436 órganos jurisdiccionales del Poder Judicial cuentan con EJE, lo que representa el 14 % del total de ellos a nivel nacional.

Precisó que a nivel nacional hay más de 400 mil expedientes tramitados con cero papel. “Muchos de estos expedientes ya están archivados, pero no en los anaqueles, sino en los servidores electrónicos del Poder Judicial”, señaló.

Por su parte, el presidente de la Corte Superior de La Libertad, Giammpol Taboada Pilco, refirió que serán modernizados los juzgados civiles y las salas, con la finalidad de brindar una justicia pronta, cumplida y amable.

En la ceremonia participaron los integrantes del Consejo Ejecutivo del Poder Judicial: Carlos Arias Lazarte, Gustavo Álvarez Trujillo, Jessica Medina Jiménez y Vicente Espinoza Santillán, jueces y juezas, autoridades de la región, y funcionarios de la institución judicial.
