La entrega formal de los equipos médicos se efectuó el Jueves 30 de Junio en la mañana en el hospital ubicado en la avenida José Abelardo Quiñones Km 1.4 de la ciudad de Iquitos con la asistencia de médico cirujano Carlo Mario Arévalo Vargas, Director Ejecutivo del Hospital Apoyo Iquitos y el oftalmólogo José Salazar Zambrano.
Paul H. Vega Roque líder local de la Iglesia de Jesucristo en Iquitos mencionó el compromiso de la Iglesia y de sus miembros en apoyar a la comunidad y expresó su deseo que los equipos médicos proporcionen beneficios a la comunidad.
Carlo Mario Arévalo, Director Ejecutivo del hospital agradeció con entusiasmo la donación que permitirá mejorar la atención de los pacientes en la sala de operaciones de oftalmología. El doctor José Salazar invitó al representante de la Iglesia Paul Vega a conocer los ambientes de la sala de intervenciones quirúrgicas oftalmológicas donde se instalaran lo equipos médicos recibidos expresando también su agradecimiento por la donación que beneficiará a los usuarios del centro hospitalario.
