Jefe de Gabinete Ministerial Aníbal Torres, informó que se estima para la segunda mitad de agosto la llegada del fertilizante (urea) al país.

En ese sentido, anotó que se ha solicitado a los titulares de Interior y Defensa para que coordinen patrullajes en la capital. “Ya se les ha solicitado que coordinen, a fin de que la Policía, con el apoyo de las Fuerzas Armadas, empiecen a patrullar la ciudad, especialmente en los lugares más peligrosos”, declaró en conferencia de prensa.

Añadió que desde el Ejecutivo se trabajará para organizar las juntas vecinales e incorporar al serenazgo en la lucha contra la inseguridad ciudadana. Asimismo, dijo que se trabajará un proyecto de ley para que los integrantes de los Serenazgos Municipales puedan usar armas no letales. “Es una política de Estado de este Gobierno el convertir al Perú en un país muy seguro”, expresó.

LLEGADA DE UREA PARA SEGUNDA MITAD DE AGOSTO
Sobre el proceso de adquisición de fertilizantes (urea), el jefe del Gabinete Ministerial informó que este inició el 1 de julio y la buena pro se otorgará entre el 15 y 18 de julio, a fin de que la urea llegue al país durante la segunda mitad de agosto. Asimismo, anunció que se presentará un proyecto de ley que permita la venta del fertilizante.

“Estamos presentando un proyecto de ley para que el Congreso nos faculte a vender la urea, ya sea a precio de costo o subsidiado. Los mismos agricultores nos han manifestado que no quieren el fertilizante regalado, pero sí a un precio razonable. Esta iniciativa legislativa va en esa dirección”, aseguró.

INVOCA A LA POBLACIÓN A VACUNARSE
El presidente del Consejo de Ministros, Aníbal Torres, invocó a la población a completar su esquema de vacunación contra la COVID-19, luego de que informara que alrededor del 75% personas fallecidas a nivel nacional a causa del coronavirus no se encontraban vacunadas.

“Estamos atravesando un incremento en el número de contagios de COVID-19, por ello invocamos a toda la ciudadanía a vacunarse con la tercera dosis para proteger su salud, la de su familia y de la sociedad en general”, indicó el jefe del Gabinete Ministerial.

El titular de la Presidencia del Consejo de Ministros (PCM) enfatizó el riesgo que corren las vidas de las personas no vacunadas. “Están corriendo un grave riesgo de morir por la COVID-19, mientras que aquellos que han cumplido su esquema de vacunación han reducido al mínimo su riesgo de muerte a causa de esta enfermedad”, añadió.

Sobre el uso de mascarillas, Torres explicó que no se ha dispuesto la obligatoriedad del uso de estas. “No podemos obligar porque limitaríamos la libertad de las personas en un momento en que la mayoría de ciudadanos están vacunados, no obstante, frente a este incremento de contagios sí recomendamos el uso de las mascarillas”, dijo.

ATENCIÓN DE HELADAS Y FRIAJE
Con relación al friaje que afectan las zonas altoandinas, especialmente del sur del país, Aníbal Torres informó que el Ministerio de Vivienda Construcción y Saneamiento tienen proyectado construir 32 mil “casitas calientes” entre el 2022 y el 2024. “A la fecha hemos construido 10 mil “casitas calientes”. Tenemos un plan multisectorial para lograr el objetivo”, añadió.

CALLS ON THE POPULATION TO GET VACCINATED
The President of the Council of Ministers, Aníbal Torres, called on the population to complete their vaccination schedule against COVID-19, after he reported that around 75% of people who died nationwide due to the coronavirus were not vaccinated.

“We are going through an increase in the number of COVID-19 infections, so we call on all citizens to get vaccinated with the third dose to protect their health, that of their family and society in general,” said the head of the Cabinet Ministerial.

FROST AND COLD CARE
In relation to the cold that affects the high Andean areas, especially in the south of the country, Aníbal Torres reported that the Ministry of Housing, Construction and Sanitation plans to build 32,000 “hot houses” between 2022 and 2024. “To date we have built 10 thousand “hot houses”. We have a multisectoral plan to achieve the goal,” he added.
