Al referirse a las denuncias sobre un presunto reglaje policial contra los colaboradores eficaces Karelim López y Zamir Villaverde, explicó que todo fue un malentendido, pues el personal policial solo cumplía con la verificación de un servicio de custodia personal.
“La Policía estaba verificando los servicios, colaborando. No hace reglajes, pero a veces lo toman a mal por desconocimiento. Ese tema ya se aclaró en la comisaría y en la Fiscalía. La Policía no hace este tipo de actos”, subrayó Huerta, al ser consultado por el tema.
Desde San Martín de Porres, donde participó en la presentación de los resultados de recientes operativos policiales, Huerta ratificó que continúan los esfuerzos para ubicar y capturar a Bruno Pacheco, Juan Silva, Fray Vásquez y demás prófugos de la justicia.
Indicó que el trabajo policial para dar con el paradero de estas personas requisitoriadas se sigue ejecutando, incluso con allanamientos a viviendas, locales y otros predios ubicados en diferentes lugares, pero aún sin obtener resultados positivos.
Acompañado del ministro de Defensa, José Luis Gavidia, el titular del Interior reafirmó que en su gestión respaldará y reforzará al equipo especial de la PNP, creado para apoyar al Ministerio Público en la lucha contra la corrupción y en la ubicación de estos fugitivos.
Este grupo de inteligencia, reiteró, será reforzado con mayor logística, más personal e incluso con la incorporación de agentes de la Dirección contra la Corrupción (Dircocor) y de la Dirección de Investigación de Lavado de Activos (Dirila) de la PNP.
Durante la presentación de estos resultados, el ministro felicitó el trabajo policial que en tan solo 36 horas permitió la desarticulación de 66 bandas criminales en diversos puntos de Lima Metropolitana, así como la detención de 475 delincuentes, 67 con requisitoria.
Además, se logró incautar 46 armas de fuego empleadas por la delincuencia, se recuperó un total de 49 vehículos robados y 130 celulares, y se decomisó alrededor de cinco kilos de droga, entre marihuana, pasta básica de cocaína y clorhidrato de cocaína.
Estos resultados fueron posibles gracias a una fina planificación de la PNP, al trabajo articulado con las Fuerzas Armadas y los gobiernos locales, así como al uso de elementos tecnológicos, como los drones que sobrevuelan las zonas más peligrosas de la ciudad.
