En el Día del Obrero Municipal, presidente Castillo exhorta a alcaldes electos a escuchar demandas de trabajadores municipales del país.

“Exhortamos a los alcaldes electos a que aseguren un trato laboral digno para los trabajadores municipales. En las próximas reuniones que tengamos con las nuevas autoridades, vamos a tocar este tema”, afirmó durante un encuentro con miembros de la Confederación General de Trabajadores del Perú (CGTP) que sostuvo en Palacio de Gobierno por el “Día del Obrero Municipal”.

En ese contexto, destacó la labor que viene realizando el jefe del Consejo de Ministros, Aníbal Torres Vásquez, en la tarea encomendada de reunirse con gremios laborales para atender sus necesidades.

“El pueblo siempre ha estado a la espera de una oportunidad para ser escuchado y hoy mi gobierno, el gobierno del pueblo, no solamente los escucha sino también los atiende”, destacó ante más de un centenar de trabajadores.

Asimismo, pidió a los funcionarios del Ejecutivo recibir las demandas o petitorios que lleguen a Palacio de Gobierno, pues esa es la única manera de avanzar en el cierre de brechas sociales que tanto demanda el país.

“Las demandas tan ansiadas de los peruanos se concretarán en la medida que haya un gobierno que los atienda; así lo hemos hecho y así lo seguiremos haciendo porque detrás de un trabajador, de un obrero, existe una familia que necesita ser alimentada y educada”, remarcó.

Subrayó que, en paralelo a la atención de demandas, su Gabinete Ministerial trabaja a diario para gestar normas y proyectos de ley que permitan mejorar las condiciones de vida de todos los peruanos, sin distinción alguna.

“Es importante, también, que las medidas alcanzadas no sean políticas de gobierno, sino políticas de Estado, porque estas últimas son las que lograrán que se mejoren las condiciones de vida de esta generación y de las que vengan”, apuntó.

Finalmente, aseveró que su gestión seguirá recibiendo a los representantes de trabajadores y de la población en general. “A muchos no les gusta que vengan pues dicen que es la portátil del gobierno. Acá a nadie se les ha dado nada, las puertas estarán siempre abiertas para recibirlos y manifiesten sus demandas”, puntualizó.

“The long-awaited demands of Peruvians will materialize to the extent that there is a government that attends to them; We have done so and we will continue to do so because behind a worker, a worker, there is a family that needs to be fed and educated”, he remarked.

He stressed that, in parallel to the attention to demands, his Ministerial Cabinet works daily to develop regulations and bills that allow improving the living conditions of all Peruvians, without distinction.

“It is also important that the measures achieved are not government policies, but State policies, because the latter are the ones that will improve the living conditions of this generation and those to come,” he said.

Finally, he asserted that his management will continue to receive the representatives of workers and the population in general. “Many do not like that they come because they say it is the government’s laptop. Here nobody has been given anything, the doors will always be open to receive them and express their demands”, he pointed out.
