Ello durante su visita a esta provincia, donde lideró una reunión con autoridades locales, congresistas y ministros de Estado, a fin de coordinar la atención de servicios básicos para la población de dicha zona del país.
“El Ministerio de Transportes y Comunicaciones (MTC) continuará con los vuelos subsidiados en la ruta Pucallpa – Puerto Esperanza – Pucallpa; cuyo monto de inversión anual es de S/ 2.5 millones aproximadamente; beneficiando a más 2,800 habitantes. Asimismo, se implementará el servicio de internet satelital a 14 instituciones públicas de la provincia de Purús; el cual iniciará sus operaciones el primer trimestre del 2023, cuyo monto de inversión es S/ 1 millón aproximadamente”, detalló.
El premier sostuvo que en esta provincia los servicios de Educación y Salud tienen que ser mejorados, con la finalidad de asegurar que los niños, niñas y jóvenes sean mejor atendidos y tengan más oportunidades para desarrollarse; lo mismo con los servicios de agua y desagüe. “En cuanto a la conectividad y a la movilidad de la población, vamos a desplegar acciones de desarrollo sostenible e integración para la atención prioritaria de estos lugares, mejorando el transporte terrestre, fluvial y aéreo. Purús es una de las zonas críticas de frontera en Ucayali y como tal, debe ser priorizada”, comentó.
De parte del Ministerio de Vivienda, Construcción y Saneamiento, dijo, se viene finalizando el expediente del proyecto de obra “Mejoramiento y Ampliación de los servicios de agua potable y alcantarillado sanitario de la localidad de Puerto Esperanza”; cuyo monto de inversión es S/ 32.1 millones. Mientras que desde Ministerio del Ambiente (Minam) se implementará un puesto de control y vigilancia, en la comunidad nativa Balta, en el ámbito de la Reserva Indígena Maschco Piro; cuya inversión asciende a US$115,000.
Asimismo, el Programa Nacional de Conservación de Bosques firmará convenios con las 9 comunidades nativas de: Balta, Conta, Gasta Bala, Santa Margarita, Laureano, Miguel Grau, Nueva Luz, Zapote y Pankirentzy; que tiene como finalidad preservar 138, 664 hectáreas de bosques; en beneficio de 253 familias indígenas; cuyo monto de inversión es de S/ 1.4 millones aproximadamente.
El premier también indicó que el Ministerio de Energía y Minas (Minem), a través de la Dirección General de Electrificación Rural en coordinación con Electro Ucayali, tienen tres proyectos de electrificación rural como son el Mejoramiento y Ampliación de Redes de Distribución en el distrito de Purús, Ampliación de la Capacidad de la Central Solar Fotovoltaica de Puerto Esperanza y Extensión de Redes Eléctricas para interconectar las localidades cercanas e integrar el sistema eléctrico; que beneficiarán a 4,600 habitantes; cuyo monto de inversión aproximada es de S/ 22 millones.
Torres Vásquez también indicó que desde el Ministerio de Desarrollo Agrario y Riego (Midagri) se viene finalizando el expediente del proyecto “Mejoramiento de la producción agrícola mediante el sistema agroecológico en las comunidades nativas fronterizas de Purús, Atalaya y Coronel Portillo” cuyo monto de inversión es S/ 6.4 millones de soles aproximadamente. Por otro lado, se viene gestionando una oficina del Programa de Desarrollo Productivo Agrario Rural (Agrorural) para priorizar la atención a dicha provincia.
De otro lado, el premier destacó que el gobierno del presidente Pedro Castillo pone su mirada en las comunidades más vulnerables y alejadas, donde hay mayores brechas por cerrar. “Ustedes son nuestra prioridad, y seguiremos trabajando para proteger sus comunidades, desplegar más y mejores servicios públicos, asegurar la conectividad de nuestros pueblos, y promover el desarrollo económico de la zona, pero de manera sostenible y respetuosa con el medio ambiente y con nuestra riqueza cultural”, finalizó.

On behalf of the Ministry of Housing, Construction and Sanitation, he said, the work project file “Improvement and Expansion of drinking water and sanitary sewerage services in the town of Puerto Esperanza” is being finalized; whose investment amount is S/ 32.1 million.
