Ante las diferentes manifestaciones de protesta social que se viene registrando en el país, el Programa Nacional Cuna Más del Ministerio de Desarrollo e Inclusión Social (Midis) recomienda a los padres, madres y cuidadores principales a no exponer a las niñas y niños a situaciones que vulneren su integridad física y emocional, brindando soporte emocional para asegurar su protección.

La directora ejecutiva de Cuna Más, Lourdes Sevilla, se unió a las recomendaciones que envió Unicef a fin de fortalecer el desarrollo de habilidades, cuidar y proteger la integridad de las niñas y niños menores de 36 meses de edad.

“Bajo el principio de corresponsabilidad en la protección de la primera infancia, el Estado, las familias y la sociedad tienen el rol de asegurar su protección y de fomentar el ejercicio progresivo de sus derechos en el marco de valores tales como la tolerancia, la resolución pacífica de conflictos, y la convivencia armónica. Nos unimos al llamado de Unicef para evitar acudir con niñas y niños o adolescentes a lugares públicos cercanos a las protestas. Como padres, madres o cuidadores principales debemos garantizar tanto el bienestar físico como emocional de nuestras hijas e hijos”, refirió Sevilla Carnero.

Asimismo, Lourdes Sevilla sugirió a las madres, padres o cuidadores principal a mantener la calma, a transmitir tranquilidad y a conversar con las niñas y niños sobre las emociones que pueden sentir: como miedo, rabia o angustia en situaciones de incertidumbre.

Al respecto, la multiplataforma Cuna Más Digital, iniciativa del Programa Nacional Cuna Más, es una de las alternativas para las madres, padres y cuidadores principales de niñas y niños menores de 36 meses con contenido de valor que resulta favorablemente en el fortalecimiento de las prácticas de atención integral y cuidado de la primera infancia.

“En Cuna Más tenemos la multiplataforma Cuna Más Digital que cuenta con los programas Cuentos de Cuna, 1, 2, 3 Juguete, Canciones de Cuna y Más Experto, tanto en castellano como en lenguas originarias como asháninka, quechua collao, aimara, shipibo-konibo y awajún. También, se tiene la plataforma Cuna Más Radial, mediante la cual se transmiten radionovelas, dramatizaciones, canciones infantiles inéditas y podcast, en los que se abordan temas relacionados al Desarrollo Infantil Temprano”, enseñó la directora ejecutiva de Cuna Más.

Finalmente, reiteró su disposición a fortalecer, en el marco del programa, la cooperación necesaria para asegurar una primera infancia saludable, segura y feliz.
