Ante un auditorio compuesto por beneficiarios de los programas sociales, la mandataria indicó que es un compromiso de alta responsabilidad del Gobierno atender la pobreza en forma multidimensional y garantizar que el Estado brinde mejores servicios a toda la población.

“Seguiremos mejorando la atención a los hermanos de Pensión 65, a los usuarios de Contigo, de Juntos, para acompañarlos en sus diferentes etapas de vida, que puedan acceder a estudios superiores y cambiar ese ciclo de vida, generando un mejor futuro para la Patria”, refirió.

Precisó que uno de los compromisos de su gestión es resolver paulatinamente aquellas necesidades sociales postergadas por muchos años, atendiendo por igual a todos los peruanos y peruanas.

Durante la ceremonia, realizada en Palacio de Gobierno, la jefa de Estado dijo además que el Ministerio de Educación tiene la tarea de renovar la infraestructura educativa, garantizar docentes y materiales educativos para el inicio del año escolar en el mes de marzo.

“No nos quedamos allí, los niños tienen que aprender a investigar y para ello les tenemos que dar Internet, tenemos que construir más carreteras y puentes para unir a los pueblos, forjar más puestos de trabajo e ir destrabando las obras paralizadas por actos de corrupción”, apuntó.

En tanto, el coordinador residente de las Naciones Unidas en el Perú, Igor Garafulic, destacó que la Política Nacional de Desarrollo e Inclusión Social al 2023 es ambiciosa e integral, y aseguró que el sistema, los fondos y programas de este organismo mundial brindarán el apoyo que solicite el Perú para su ejecución.

En esta actividad participó el presidente del Consejo de Ministros, Alberto Otárola, los ministros de Desarrollo e Inclusión Social, Julio Demartini; de Educación, Óscar Becerra; de Salud, Rosa Gutiérrez; de Cultura, Leslie Urteaga; la jefa del Reniec, Carmen Velarde, así como el coordinador residente de las Naciones Unidas en el Perú, Igor Garafulic.
