More than 27,697 workers entered payrolls in these first 45 days of the year, indicated Sunafil attached to the MTPE.

Peruvian News Agency PRENSAPERU.PE https://prensaperu.pe Twitter: @prensaperupe Between January and the first half of February, the National Superintendence of Labor Inspection (Sunafil) managed to get 27,697 workers who worked informally to enter the form.

This was the result of the different actions carried out by the institution, such as inspection, technical assistance, guidance, sending inductive letters to companies and the entry of workers to the Verifica tu Chamba application, where they can verify if their employer entered them on the spreadsheet.

The majority of benefited workers belong to the regions of Metropolitan Lima (17,739), La Libertad (2,072), Piura (1,274), Ica (1,085) and Arequipa (836).

Likewise, the economic activities that formalized the largest number of personnel were services (6,337), agriculture (7,681), wholesale and retail trade (2,593), construction (1,979) and transportation (1,922).

It should be noted that it is a very serious infraction not to register workers on the payroll, as well as not registering them in the social security health system and in the social security pension system. The fine will depend on the number of workers affected and the type of company: microenterprise, small company or company that is not mype.

Sunafil will continue to carry out inspections so that companies assume the role of complying with the labor rights of the workers they hire.
