Así lo anunció la Presidenta de la República, Dina Boluarte, al referirse a las acciones del sector Vivienda en el marco del programa “Con Punche Puno”, durante una conferencia de prensa realizada esta tarde en Palacio de Gobierno, junto al jefe del Gabinete Ministerial, Alberto Otárola, y ministros de Estado.

Por su parte, la titular del sector, Hania Pérez de Cuéllar, complementó el anunció de la mandataria de que se construirán 8015 mil viviendas del programa Sumaq Wasi, que beneficiarán a 32 mil pobladores de las zonas afectadas por las heladas.

“Esto representa más del 50% de las viviendas Sumaq Wasi que el ministerio ejecutará este año a nivel nacional”, destacó.

En su intervención, la ministra Pérez de Cuéllar señaló que, al asumir el cargo, encontró 26 obras de agua, saneamiento y vivienda paralizadas en la región Puno, lo que afectó directamente a 264 mil pobladores, quienes no han podido acceder a estos servicios básicos y tener una casa digna.

“Puno es la región con la mayor cantidad de obras paralizadas en el sector Vivienda de todo el país”, acotó.

Manifestó que estas obras podrían haber contribuido a cerrar las brechas de acceso a estos servicios básicos, pues en Puno, cerca de 350 mil compatriotas no tienen acceso al agua y aproximadamente 600 mil no cuentan con saneamiento básico.

Agregó que este año se tenía previsto culminar 17 proyectos de agua y saneamiento que beneficiarían a 140 mil pobladores, pero que, lamentablemente, 13 de esos proyectos están suspendidos debido a los conflictos que mantienen paralizada parte de esa región.

OBRAS EJECUTADAS
La titular de Vivienda resaltó que, pese a la situación de conflicto en Puno, en su gestión se logró culminar dos obras rurales de agua y saneamiento en beneficio de 2 mil pobladores de los distritos de Tilali y Sandia.

Además, se logró reactivar otros dos proyectos para dotar de agua a los distritos de Asillo y Huancané, y seguimos trabajando para reactivar otros 25 proyectos paralizados en ocho provincias de Puno.

La ministra de Vivienda destacó que se han gestionado más de S/ 32 millones del programa “Con Punche Perú” que permitirán la ejecución de 11 proyectos adicionales de agua y saneamiento para beneficio de las comunidades de los distritos Coata, San Antón, Azángaro, Capachica, San José, Corani, Caracoto, entre otros.

BRIGADA DE DESTRABE
La ministra Pérez de Cuéllar anunció que enviará brigadas técnicas a Puno para que, junto a los representantes del gobierno regional y municipios provinciales y distritales, trabajar en el impulso y destrabe de los 26 proyectos de inversión en cartera.

Asimismo, refirió que se trabaja en el destrabe de dos grandes megaproyectos en Puno, uno de los cuales es la construcción de la planta de tratamiento de aguas residuales (PTAR) Titicaca, bajo la modalidad de Asociación Público Privadas (APP), que tendrá un costo aproximado de 165 millones de dólares y beneficiará a más de 1 millón 200 mil habitantes.

También está en cartera el proyecto integral de agua y saneamiento de Juliaca que beneficiará a más de 480 mil puneños, el cual demandará una inversión de S/ 1,507 millones.
