Agencia Peruana de Noticias PRENSAPERU.PE https://prensaperu.pe Twitter: @prensaperupe Alejandro Toledo Manrique retornó este domingo 22 de abril al Perú como parte de su proceso de extradición desde Estados Unidos, Toledo Manrique, luego de aterrizar en el avión que lo trajo al país, fue conducido a la Dirección Nacional de la Policía Aérea, a fin de someterse a la justicia peruana por el caso de la irregular concesión de la obra de la Carretera Interoceánica Sur, al que la prensa bautizo como “Ecoteva”.

CASO CARRETERA INTEROCEÁNICA SUR
Este caso judicial comprende sobre los supuestos pagos ilícitos efectuados por la empresa Odebrecht al ex Presidente de la República, Alejandro Toledo Manrique, por aproximadamente US$ 20´000,000, a efectos de ser favorecidos en las licitaciones de los tramos 2 y 3 del Proyecto Corredor Vial Interoceánico Perú-Brasil. Los montos serían abonados en las cuentas del empresario peruano-israelí Josef Maiman.

Con fecha 23 de junio del 2005, el Comité de Proinversión en Proyectos de Infraestructura y de Servicios Públicos otorgó la Buena Pro de los Tramos 2 y 3 de la Concesión del Proyecto Corredor Vial Interoceánico Sur, Perú-Brasil a los consorcios Concesionario Interoceánica Urcos – Inambari y Concesionario Interoceánica Inambari – Iñapari, integrados por Constructora Norberto Odebrecht SA, Graña y Montero SA, JJ Camet Contratistas Generales SA e Ingenieros Civiles Asociados de CV.

CONDUCTA EN TODO EL PROCESO DE ALEJANDRO TOLEDO MANRIQUE.
Como se recuerda el Expresidente peruano Alejandro Toledo Manrique, fue detenido en Estados Unidos en 2018 por petición de las autoridades peruanas. Ahora el exjefe de Estado peruano ha sido extraditado desde Estados Unidos para hacer frente a las acusaciones de corrupción que pesan sobre él en nuestro país.

El líder y conductor de la marcha de los “Cuatro Suyos” que derrocara al dictador de entonces Alberto Fujimori, hace más de veinte años; Alejandro Toledo Manrique, invocó días antes de su retorno al Perú, al sistema de la Justicia peruana que no permita su “muerte en prisión…le pido a la Justicia peruana que no me mate en la cárcel, déjenme luchar con argumentos”, a ello se suma la lucha que afronta frente una enfermedad el exgobernante peruano, ya padece de una mal que día a día deteriora su frágil estado de salud.
