El miércoles 10 de mayo en la mañana, Sebastián León León, líder local de la Iglesia de Jesucristo en el Callao, acompañado de Johel Valdivia Manrique, Gerente de Bienestar y Autosuficiencia y los misioneros de Bienestar Landon, realizaron la entrega de la donación en el Almacén General del INDECI ubicado en la Av. Argentina del Callao.

La entrega de las bolsas de alimentos contó con la asistencia de Carlos Manuel Yáñez Lazo, Jefe Institucional del INDECI y otros funcionarios de la institución. Carlos Yáñez agradeció a la Iglesia de Jesucristo por la donación de alimentos, recordando que no es la primera vez que la Iglesia realiza donaciones a través del INDECI y agradeciendo también por la confianza para su distribución a los sectores más afectados por las inundaciones.

Sebastián León, de la Iglesia de Jesucristo manifestó su gratitud al INDECI por ser el medio por el cual llegara la ayuda a las personas que la necesitan en los sectores más afectados de Piura, agregando que los miembros de la Iglesia ayudan siguiendo el ejemplo del Salvador Jesucristo

Las bolsas de alimentos contenían leche evaporada, harina, avena, conservas de pescado, lentejas, azúcar, aceite vegetal, fideos y arroz. Cada bolsa con un peso aproximado de 15 kilos que en total significaron más de 22 toneladas de alimentos.

Carlos Yáñez thanked the Church of Jesus Christ for the food donation, recalling that it is not the first time that the Church has made donations through INDECI and also thanking them for the trust in distributing them to the sectors most affected by the floods.

The food bags contained evaporated milk, flour, oats, canned fish, lentils, sugar, vegetable oil, noodles, and rice. Each bag with an approximate weight of 15 kilos that in total meant more than 22 tons of food.
