En el lugar, anunció la instalación de hospitales modulares para continuar atendiendo a la población.

“Vamos a implementar, inmediatamente, los hospitales modulares para que el personal de salud vaya atendiendo consultas ambulatorias. No podemos poner en riesgo a nuestros pacientes ni al recurso humano”, mencionó.

Para ello, dispuso la conformación de un equipo técnico, integrado por el gobierno local, funcionarios del hospital y la Dirección General de Gestión del Riesgo de Desastres y Defensa Nacional en Salud (Digerd).

En su visita al establecimiento, la titular del Ministerio de Salud (Minsa) se reunió con el alcalde distrital de Chancay, Juan Álvarez Andrade, y el director del Hospital Regional de Chancay, Mirko Molina Morote, para solicitar el reporte de los daños a la infraestructura y equipamiento.

En relación con el mantenimiento del nosocomio, determinó que se intervenga mediante Inversiones de Optimización, de Ampliación Marginal, de Rehabilitación y de Reposición (IOARR). Asimismo, invocó el apoyo del Ministerio de Energía y Minas para identificar los problemas eléctricos y solucionarlos a corto plazo.

La ministra instó a las autoridades locales a trabajar y realizar acciones inmediatas que permitan recuperar, con prontitud, el establecimiento de salud en beneficio de la población.
