Agencia Peruana de Noticias PRENSAPERU.PE https://prensaperu.pe/ Twitter: @prensaperupe En aras de la seguridad vial y la transparencia, la Superintendencia de Transporte Terrestre de Personas, Carga y Mercancías (Sutran) continúa con la fiscalización del cumplimiento de los límites máximos de velocidad con cinemómetros en 16 regiones del país, en las vías nacionales que atraviesan las regiones de Áncash, Arequipa, Ayacucho, Cajamarca, Cusco, Huánuco, Ica, Junín, La Libertad, Lambayeque, Lima, Moquegua, Piura, Puno, San Martín y Ucayali.
Estos equipos electrónicos (cinemómetros) se ubican de manera estratégica en los tramos con mayor índice de siniestralidad; cuando un vehículo excede el límite máximo de velocidad permitido, el equipo capta la imagen del vehículo, su velocidad, fecha y lugar del exceso, posteriormente generar la papeleta de infracción al tránsito con el código de infracción M-20, cuya sanción oscila entre S/ 891 y S/2475 y es notificada al propietario del vehículo.
En julio de 2023, se realizará la fiscalización en los siguientes tramos de las vías nacionales:

De esta manera, se realiza un control del cumplimiento de los límites máximos de velocidad con el fin de reducir los siniestros viales por exceso de velocidad y salvaguardar la seguridad e integridad física de miles de peruanos.
Así mismo, la Sutran hace un llamado a los conductores a no exceder los límites máximos de velocidad permitidos en las vías, y a los pasajeros a tomar conciencia sobre la importancia de las normas de tránsito.
