Agencia Peruana de Noticias PRENSAPERU.PE https://prensaperu.pe/ Twitter: @prensaperupe Con el objetivo de salvaguardar la memoria de la vida política parlamentaria y su papel protagónico en el funcionamiento de la democracia, la Oficina de Comunicaciones del Congreso de la República lleva adelante el proyecto de creación de su nueva videoteca institucional del Primer Poder del Estado, la misma que no irrogará gasto público.

Se trata de la Videoteca Histórica del Congreso de la República del Perú que contendrá videos digitalizados, en blanco y negro y a color, de los importantes pasajes de la vida parlamentaria que están registrados por la televisión desde hace más de seis décadas en la que esta llegó al Perú. Esto permitirá recuperar la memoria audiovisual del trabajo realizado por el antiguo Senado y la Cámara de Diputados, así como en el Congreso unicameral, en la dación de importantes leyes para el país.

Para lograr este objetivo, se acudirá al apoyo de los medios de comunicación peruanos que cuentan con sus respectivos archivos, de las instituciones, universidades, exparlamentarios y la ciudadanía en general que cuenten con algún material histórico cuya copia digitalizada será atesorada en este acervo documental.

De esta manera, la memoria audiovisual histórica del Congreso de la República quedará a disponibilidad de la ciudadanía, investigadores, centros especializados de estudios parlamentarios nacionales e internacionales y otros que requieran acceder a la misma.

Cabe precisar que este material se sumará a la memoria audiovisual digital que guarda el Congreso de la República de las sesiones del Pleno, comisiones ordinarias y otras que se registran desde hace 18 años cuando se creó Congreso Televisión.

Congress creates a new institutional video library of digitized audiovisual archives on parliamentary political life.

This is the Historical Video Library of the Congress of the Republic of Peru that will contain digitized videos, in black and white and in color, of the important passages of parliamentary life that have been recorded by television for more than six decades in which it arrived to Peru. This will make it possible to recover the audiovisual memory of the work carried out by the old Senate and the Chamber of Deputies, as well as in the unicameral Congress, in passing important laws for the country.

To achieve this objective, the support of the Peruvian media that have their respective archives, institutions, universities, former parliamentarians and the general public that have some historical material whose digitized copy will be treasured in this documentary heritage will be sought.

In this way, the historical audiovisual memory of the Congress of the Republic will be available to the public, researchers, specialized centers for national and international parliamentary studies, and others who require access to it.

It should be noted that this material will be added to the digital audiovisual memory that the Congress of the Republic keeps of the plenary sessions, ordinary commissions and others that have been recorded for 18 years when Congreso Televisión was created.
