Agencia Peruana de Noticias PRENSAPERU.PE https://prensaperu.pe/ Twitter: @prensaperupe La Superintendencia de Transporte Terrestre de Personas, Carga y Mercancías (Sutran) trabaja para erradicar la informalidad y al 31 de julio de 2023 intervino a más de 1,2 millones de vehículos en acciones de fiscalización ejecutadas a fin de verificar que las unidades que transportan personas cuenten con la Tarjeta Única de Circulación (TUC), que les permite operar en el ámbito de su autorización.

En dichas intervenciones, llevadas a cabo en 36 puntos permanentes y más de 300 puntos móviles de 21 regiones, se comprobó que 2886 vehículos operaban sin autorización, es decir, en condición de informal, por lo que se les impuso la infracción con código F.1. que conlleva una sanción económica de 1 Unidad Impositiva Tributaria (UIT), es decir, S/ 4950.

Adicionalmente y, como medida preventiva, en este periodo, se internaron a 586 vehículos en el depósito, retiraron 2109 placas de rodaje y retuvieron 2386 licencias de conducir, a fin de retirar a los infractores de las vías.

“Desde la Sutran decimos No+Informalidad, y con el apoyo de la Policía Nacional del Perú (PNP), realizamos intervenciones los 365 días del año a vehículos para verificar que cuenten con la habilitación para prestar el servicio de transporte terrestre de personas, los documentos de porte obligatorio, así como su vigencia entre otras condiciones necesaria para un adecuado servicio. No vamos a desmayar en el cumplimiento de nuestro mandato, los ciudadanos merecen un transporte seguro en vías nacionales”, dijo William Rodríguez, superintendente de la Sutran.

DENUNCIA
El funcionario invitó a los transportistas y usuarios que se encuentren en algún punto de la Red Vial Nacional e identifiquen a un vehículo informal, a denunciarlo enviando una foto o video al canal de WhatsApp Fiscafono 999 382 606.

VERIFICACIÓN ONLINE
Los usuarios pueden verificar desde el app Viaje Seguro, que se puede descargar de forma gratuita, si el conductor y el vehículo en el que están viajando tienen todos sus documentos en regla. Asimismo, este aplicativo permite reportar incidentes o accidentes y verificar el estado de las vías nacionales, entre otras ventajas.
