Con este aumento, que no se da desde 2019, la pensión mínima de los jubilados del Decreto Ley 19990 pasaría de S/500 a S/600 y habría un incremento proporcional para quienes reciben otros importes en dicho régimen, según el proyecto de reforma de pensiones que prepara el Ejecutivo.

En su discurso, la jefa de Estado recordó que los hoy jubilados fueron trabajadores que aportaron a la economía del país en su juventud y es justo que el Gobierno esté de la mano con ellos, a través de mejores pensiones que influyan directamente en su calidad de vida.

“Ustedes no están solos, están con nosotros”, puntualizó la dignataria, quien adelantó también que los pescadores que hoy reciben pensiones de S/15, S/20 o de S/80 tendrán un incremento de S/360 como pensión base, la cual crecerá conforme aumente la Caja Fiscal.

Además, informó que el próximo año habrá un incremento del presupuesto de los programas sociales, a fin de cerrar la brecha de atención en iniciativas como Pensión 65.

En otro momento, la mandataria llamó a los hijos y jóvenes a querer aún más a sus adultos mayores, a respetarlos y acompañarlos siempre como gratitud por el tiempo y las enseñanzas que les dedicaron años atrás mientras construían la patria.

Durante su visita a la Casa del Pensionista YUYAQ, ubicada en el distrito de San Juan de Lurigancho, la presidenta Boluarte estuvo acompañada por el ministro de Economía y Finanzas, Alex Contreras, y el jefe de la ONP, Víctor Montoya.
