“Los retos de la investigación para la conservación continúan paralelos porque a los desafíos que tenemos en Sánchez Carrión y Chan Chan, en cuanto al impacto de los factores antrópicos y ambientales”, destacó.

Estas declaraciones las brindó la titular de Cultura, durante su participación en la Primera Audiencia Pública “Problemática de la Zona Arqueológica de Chan Chan, del Complejo Arqueológico Marcahuamachuco y del Sitio Arqueológico Wiracochapampa de la región La Libertad”, organizada por la Comisión de Cultura y Patrimonio Cultural del Congreso de La República, en Chan Chan.

Allí, Leslie Urteaga, informó que su sector está trabajando en conjunto con el Ministerio de Comercio Exterior y Turismo, para impulsar proyectos orientados a mejorar los servicios turísticos públicos en el único conjunto amurallado abierto al turismo en Chan Chan. “La finalidad es preservar nuestra cultura, conservarla, ponerla en valor y uso social”, dijo.

Asimismo, indicó que en los últimos meses se han ejecutado acciones de prevención ante fenómenos naturales. En la Zona Monumental de Chan Chan, se han resanado los muros más afectados con la finalidad de que la lluvia no afecte la estructura arqueológica, de manera directa

También se refirió a la problemática de las casonas en mal estado. Sobre este último tema, destacó que, en conjunto con el Congreso de La República, se deben buscar otros mecanismos para intervenir en propiedades que no son del Estado, con fines de su preservación.

Sobre los sitios arqueológicos Marcahuamachuco y Wiracochapampa, informó que se está avanzando el saneamiento físico legal y el proceso de delimitación del Complejo Arqueológico Marcahuamachuco. “Queda pendiente de inscribir 45. 5% del área arqueológica”, acotó.

PREMIO A CHAN CHAN
La ministra de Cultura también destacó la clasificación de Jerarquía 4 como un reconocimiento a Chan Chan por representar un logro artístico singular, una obra maestra del genio creador humano y ser un testimonio único y excepcional de la civilización Chimú.

Además, esta distinción, resalta la singularidad de los recursos, publicaciones, reconocimientos, estado de conservación, flujo de visitantes, facilidades disponibles, representatividad territorial e inclusión en la oferta turística.

Asimismo, destacó la estrategia del Ministerio de Cultura de promover el acceso gratuito a sitios arqueológicos e históricos administrados por el Estado, que permite, el primer domingo de cada mes, convocar a las familias liberteñas en el Museo de Sitio de Chan Chan y ofrecer espectáculos culturales gratuitos, que complementan la experiencia cultural en un solo espacio.

Otra buena noticia que presentó la ministra es que los usuarios, desde cualquier parte del mundo, podrán adquirir sus entradas al Complejo Arqueológico Chan Chan y su museo de sitio, de manera digital, a través de la plataforma virtual tuboleto.cultura.pe.

Sobre las invasiones en Chan Chan la titular de Cultura destacó que existen 64 procesos administrativos sancionadores y otras denuncias penales que están bajo el seguimiento de la Dirección Desconcentrada de Cultura de La Libertad y la Procuraduría del Ministerio de Cultura. Invocó a la ciudadanía a no adquirir terreno en zonas arqueológicas, porque no podrán acceder a servicios básicos.

Por último, la ministra de Cultura enfatizó que el próximo año se continuarán con los trabajos de investigación y conservación en los sitios arqueológicos Marcahumachuco, Wiracochapampa y Chan Chan. Además, mencionó que existen proyectos viables que están poniendo a disposición del Plan Copesco, para brindar mejores servicios a los visitantes y en paralelo fortalecer la identidad de los ciudadanos.

Luego de ello, la ministra se reunió con el gobernador regional, César Acuña, con quien recorrió el Complejo Arqueológico de Chan Chan.

Regarding the Marcahuamachuco and Wiracochapampa archaeological sites, he reported that legal physical sanitation and the delimitation process of the Marcahuamachuco Archaeological Complex are progressing. “45.5% of the archaeological area remains to be registered,” he said.
