El director ejecutivo del Programa Nacional de Saneamiento Rural (PNSR), Fernando Neyra Palomino, llegó a Puno, donde conjuntamente con los alcaldes de Coata, Lázaro Yanqui; y de Achaya, Zenobio Calloapaza, se suscribieron, por separado, los documentos que oficializan la transferencia de los recursos.
Ambas autoridades, junto a los pobladores beneficiarios, recibieron de manera simbólica los cheques que autorizan las partidas respectivas que permitirán que las municipalidades ejecuten las obras en el plazo establecido.
Con un presupuesto de más de S/ 5.64 millones, el municipio de Coata ejecutará el proyecto de “Mejoramiento y ampliación del servicio de agua potable y saneamiento básico en el sector Ángel Carata de la comunidad de Carata, distrito de Coata, provincia de Puno, departamento de Puno”, que beneficiará a más de 826 pobladores.
“Esta importante obra va a mejorar la calidad de vida de nuestros hermanos y hermanas de las zonas rurales de Carata, en este pujante distrito puneño. La ministra Hania Pérez de Cuéllar se puso la meta de destrabar y encontrar solución a proyectos estancados y se están concretando”, mencionó Neyra Palomino.
Asimismo, se oficializó la transferencia de más de S/ 9.39 millones para la instalación de sistemas de agua potable, conexiones domiciliarias, construcción de reservorios y disposición de excretas que beneficiarán a 1156 habitantes de las comunidades de Florida, Pilipiline, Tuturcuyo, Esquinapata y Yucajachi del distrito de Achaya, en la provincia de Azángaro.
COMPROMISOS ASUMIDOS Y AHORA CUMPLIDOS
Por su parte, el alcalde de Coata, Lázaro Yanqui, agradeció al Gobierno y al Ministerio de Vivienda por impulsar estas importantes obras que contribuirán a mejorar la calidad de vida de los pobladores de Puno.
“Hermanos hay que estar alegres, el objetivo se ha cumplido por la exigencia de los pueblos. La vez pasada inauguramos Carata y ahora le agradecemos a la ministra (Hania Pérez de Cuéllar), a la hermana Dina (Boluarte) que nos han dado esta oportunidad para tener agua y saneamiento”, expresó.
La autoridad edil resaltó también que el Ejecutivo viene cumpliendo los compromisos asumidos por los distintos ministerios.
OBRAS PARA PUNO
Hace unos días, el Ministerio de Vivienda colocó la primera piedra que dio inicio al proyecto de agua y saneamiento que beneficiará a 4000 habitantes de nueve centros poblados del distrito de Coata, en Puno, una obra esperada por más de 10 años por los habitantes de esta zona del altiplano.

COMMITMENTS ASSUMED AND NOW FULFILLED
For his part, the mayor of Coata, Lázaro Yanqui, thanked the Government and the Ministry of Housing for promoting these important works that will contribute to improving the quality of life of the residents of Puno.
“Brothers, we must be happy, the objective has been met due to the demands of the people. Last time we inaugurated Carata and now we thank the minister (Hania Pérez de Cuéllar), sister Dina (Boluarte) who have given us this opportunity to have water and sanitation,” he expressed.
The municipal authority also highlighted that the Executive has been fulfilling the commitments made by the different ministries.
WORKS FOR PUNO
A few days ago, the Ministry of Housing laid the first stone that began the water and sanitation project that will benefit 4,000 inhabitants of nine population centers in the Coata district, in Puno, a work awaited for more than 10 years by the inhabitants of this area of the highlands.
