En el auditorio del distrito de Socabaya en la ciudad blanca se efectuó la entrega formal de kits de cocina para comedores populares, con la asistencia de Juan Roberto Muñoz Pinto, Alcalde distrital de Socabaya y Flor de María Sánchez Ymata, Gerente de Desarrollo Social y representantes de los comedores populares que recibieron la donación.
La Iglesia de Jesucristo estuvo representada por José A. Ramos, líder local de la Iglesia de Jesucristo en Arequipa, quien expresó que para la Iglesia de Jesucristo es un privilegio poder ayudar a atender a los necesitados.
El alcalde Roberto Muñoz agradeció la solidaridad de la Iglesia de Jesucristo que con su donación ayuda a atender a la población más necesitada del distrito que es atendida por los comedores populares del distrito.
Los kits de cocina donados por La Iglesia de Jesucristo contenían licuadoras con vaso de vidrio, ollas de aluminio, sets de cuchillos con hojas de acero, juegos de tablas de picar, tazones, coladores y cucharas de acero inoxidable, espumaderas de aluminio, baldes y jarras de plástico, mandiles de tela y otros artículos para cocina.
La entrega de la ayuda humanitaria es parte de los 480 kits de cocina que La Iglesia de Jesucristo ha entregado al Ministerio de Desarrollo e Inclusión Social y que en coordinación con alcaldes provinciales y distritales de las regiones, Arequipa, Ayacucho, Cusco, Junín, Piura, Puno y Lima provincias se entregan a comedores populares y ollas comunes para ayudar a las poblaciones vulnerables.
