El ministro señaló que con “APEC 2024 llegarán miles de extranjeros concentrados en 5 ciudades y muchos aprovecharán su estadía para conocer más maravillosas manifestaciones naturales, culturales y gastronómicas de nuestro amado país, cuna de civilizaciones ancestrales”.
Asimismo, el canciller González-Olaechea destacó que – acordes con nuestra tradición- debemos recibirlos con la reconocida hospitalidad peruana.
“Los peruanos creyentes y porfiados que soñamos con un Perú mejor estamos aumentando y podemos ser una inmensa mayoría porque las grandes causas movilizan corazones y conciencias”, puntualizó.
Es importante señalar que, durante el foro APEC 2024 se contará con la participación de aproximadamente 10 000 delegados que sostendrán 160 reuniones entre Arequipa, Urubamba (Cusco), Lima, Trujillo y Pucallpa, que incluyen 10 entre los titulares de relaciones exteriores, comercio, economía, finanzas, turismo, seguridad alimentaria, energía, salud y pequeñas y medianas empresas, hasta culminar con la Cumbre de Líderes en noviembre próximo.
La propuesta temática para el APEC 2024 está compuesta por tres ejes centrales: (i) el comercio e inversión para un crecimiento inclusivo e interconectado; (ii) la innovación y digitalización para promover la transición a la economía formal y global, y (iii) el crecimiento sostenible para un desarrollo resiliente.

The minister pointed out that with “APEC 2024, thousands of foreigners will arrive, concentrated in 5 cities, and many will take advantage of their stay to discover more wonderful natural, cultural and gastronomic manifestations of our beloved country, cradle of ancestral civilizations.”
Likewise, Foreign Minister González-Olaechea stressed that – in accordance with our tradition – we must receive them with the renowned Peruvian hospitality.
“The believing and stubborn Peruvians who dream of a better Peru are increasing and we can be an immense majority because great causes mobilize hearts and consciences,” he pointed out.
It is important to note that, during the APEC 2024 forum, there will be the participation of approximately 10,000 delegates who will hold 160 meetings between Arequipa, Urubamba (Cusco), Lima, Trujillo and Pucallpa, which include 10 between the heads of foreign relations, trade, economy, finance, tourism, food security, energy, health and small and medium-sized businesses, culminating with the Leaders Summit next November.
