En el marco de su agenda, el canciller González-Olaechea tendrá una reunión con la ministra de Relaciones Exteriores de Panamá, Janaina Tewaney, con quien abordará diversos temas de la relación bilateral, acompañados de sus respectivos equipos de trabajo.
El titular de Relaciones Exteriores participará en la conferencia “América Latina y los principales desafíos regionales y globales ante la naciente Era disruptiva” que se desarrollará en la sede ministerial panameña.
Asimismo, el ministro González-Olaechea sostendrá reuniones con altos representantes del sector empresarial panameño donde informará sobre las fortalezas de la economía peruana y las oportunidades de inversión.
De la misma manera, en Panamá se llevará a cabo un encuentro entre el canciller Javier González-Olaechea Franco y el presidente de la CAF-Banco de Desarrollo de América Latina y el Caribe, Sergio Granados.
Es importante destacar que el 18 de diciembre del 2023 las relaciones diplomáticas entre Perú y Panamá cumplieron 120 años. El Perú fue el primer sudamericano, y uno de los primeros a nivel mundial, en reconocer a Panamá como Estado soberano.
