Alentó a que se mantenga este impulso.
Canciller reiteró el compromiso político del Perú con el proceso de adhesión a la Organización para la Cooperación y el Desarrollo Económicos, y la prioridad que le otorga el Gobierno de la presidente Boluarte. Destacó que el Perú comparte sus mismos valores, como la defensa de la libertad, el Estado de derecho y la protección de los DDHH.
Enfatizó que este proceso resulta beneficioso como catalizador de reformas sustantivas para el desarrollo inclusivo, equitativo y sustentable en favor de todos los peruanos. Resaltó que el Perú cuenta con diversas fortalezas como su estabilidad macroeconómica y la legalidad.
El secretario general Cormann le manifestó al canciller González-Olaechea que a mediados del año próximo se habrán completado todas las revisiones, quedando pendiente evaluar el cumplimiento de las recomendaciones que haga esta organización.
Igualmente, agradeció al Perú por la decisión de enviar al SOM APEC a la Organización para la Cooperación y el Desarrollo Económicos, y alentó a una sustantiva participación en la próxima reunión Ministerial de la organización en mayo próximo, en París.
