Un lunes 21 de enero 2013 a las 12.54 pm. en la sala de cronistas parlamentarios del Congreso de la República, se funda la Agencia Peruana de Noticias PrensaPerú.pe www.prensaperu.pe

Bajo los preceptos de sus columnas de: Libertad, Igualdad, Fraternidad y Respeto a los Derechos Humanos; www.prensaperu.pe desde sus inicios se constituye y enarbola las banderas del pluralismo y la tolerancia de la práctica periodística y de la política, dando cobertura a los eventos nacionales en el país.

Respondiendo con el trabajo realizado durante estos años, con el ejercicio de un periodismo que cumpla con la construcción de una realidad más inclusiva y participativa, con pleno respeto a los Derechos Humanos, la libertad de prensa, y a los valores que sustentan a nuestro sistema democrático; proponiendo un modelo de periodismo que aporte constructivamente al desarrollo individual, organizacional y social, que influyen positivamente en los aspectos individuales, organizacionales y sociales del país.

Debemos mencionar y saludar que en las últimas décadas se han iniciado de forma incidente y acertada los acercamientos académicos que han logrado sistematizar y cerrar las brechas para la construcción y ejercicio de un periodismo cientifico, con el hecho de que las instituciones universitarias acrediten mediante el estudio en sus claustros la carrera profesional de Periodismo y/o Ciencias de la Comunicación, determinando el tratamiento académico y profesional de esta actividad humana tan importante para una sociedad libre y democrática.

De otro lado también es importante señalar, que a nivel macro, a pesar de los grandes esfuerzos de sectores sociales y políticos por el fortalecimiento de una vida democrática a nivel de nación, el periodismo todavía se encuentra delimitado por el sistema político, social y económico que viene caracterizado a nuestra región y sobre todo en nuestro país en los últimos cincuenta años. Situación que esperamos se supere y se institucionalice una Perú con instituciones sólidas e inclusivas que respondan a las expectativas que como sociedad requerimos.

We must mention and salute that in recent decades academic approaches have been initiated in an incidental and successful manner that have managed to systematize and close the gaps for the construction and exercise of scientific journalism, with the fact that university institutions accredit through the study in its cloisters the professional career of Journalism and/or Communication Sciences, determining the academic and professional treatment of this human activity so important for a free and democratic society.

On the other hand, it is also important to point out that at a macro level, despite the great efforts of social and political sectors to strengthen democratic life at the national level, journalism is still delimited by the political, social and economic system. that has characterized our region and especially in our country in the last fifty years. A situation that we hope will be overcome and a Peru will be institutionalized with solid and inclusive institutions that respond to the expectations that we as a society require.
