Durante su encuentro con el ministro de Relaciones Exteriores de India, Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, priorizaron la posibilidad de que el Gobierno del país asiático promueva la cooperación pública y privada en gobernanza e inteligencia artificial que beneficie al Perú.

A su vez, el canciller González-Olaechea lo invitó a evaluar la posibilidad de establecer un parque tecno-artificial y ratificó la igualdad de condiciones que recibe la inversión extranjera y la inversión nacional en nuestro país.

Por su parte el ministro indio manifestó que la construcción de este parque sería de interés para empresas tecnológicas de su país, al considerar que el Perú goza de una ubicación privilegiada en la región. Las altas autoridades acordaron continuar fortaleciendo la relación bilateral a partir de la creación de un Mecanismo de Consultas Políticas.

En el marco de la reunión entre el canciller Javier González-Olaechea y el ministro de Asuntos Exteriores de Estonia, Margus Tsahkna, ambos coincidieron en la importancia de la cooperación técnica en gobierno digital y seguridad cibernética.

Para dicho fin, se decidió retomar el Mecanismo de Consultas Políticas entre ambos países, y dada la disposición de Estonia a cooperar técnicamente con el Perú, el ministro González-Olaechea ofreció enviar un diagnóstico actual en esta materia para concretar este año un plan de cooperación.

Mientras que, durante su encuentro con la jefa de Asuntos Internacionales de la Corte Presidencial de Emiratos Árabes Unidos, Mariam bint Mohammed Saeed Almheiri, destacaron la importancia de la seguridad alimentaria y el fomento de las energías alternativas.

Habiendo coincidido en ambos tópicos el canciller González-Olaechea resaltó este año el establecimiento de la Embajada del Perú en dicho país asiático, a partir de lo cual se procurará la cooperación técnica que necesita el Perú de un país tan gravitante como los Emiratos Árabes Unidos.

Asimismo, en el inicio de su participación en la 60° Conferencia de Seguridad de Múnich el ministro de Relaciones Exteriores tuvo un encuentro con el presidente del foro, Christoph Heusgen. Le agradeció su deferencia por la invitación a este representativo evento para debatir y aportar sobre la seguridad internacional.

For his part, the Indian minister stated that the construction of this park would be of interest to technology companies in his country, considering that Peru enjoys a privileged location in the region. Within the framework of the meeting between Foreign Minister Javier González-Olaechea and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Estonia, Margus Tsahkna, both agreed on the importance of technical cooperation in digital government and cybersecurity.

To this end, it was decided to resume the Political Consultation Mechanism between both countries, and given Estonia’s willingness to cooperate technically with Peru, Minister González-Olaechea offered to send a current diagnosis on this matter to finalize a cooperation plan this year. .

While, during their meeting with the head of International Affairs of the Presidential Court of the United Arab Emirates, Mariam bint Mohammed Saeed Almheiri, they highlighted the importance of food security and the promotion of alternative energies.

Having agreed on both topics, Foreign Minister González-Olaechea highlighted this year the establishment of the Peruvian Embassy in said Asian country, from which the technical cooperation that Peru needs from a country as important as the United Arab Emirates will be sought.

Likewise, at the beginning of his participation in the 60th Munich Security Conference, the Minister of Foreign Affairs had a meeting with the president of the forum, Christoph Heusgen. He thanked him for his courtesy in inviting him to this representative event to debate and contribute on international security.
