“Estamos aquí, nuevamente, para cumplir un compromiso asumido con el pueblo peruano, que desea que sus autoridades rindan cuentas de sus actos y que estas actúen con transparencia, con eficiencia y con honestidad, virtud que tanta falta hace en nuestro país”, manifestó la mandataria, quien se encontraba acompañada por los miembros de su Gabinete Ministerial, en Palacio de Gobierno.

Durante su exposición, la jefa de Estado afirmó que su Gobierno tiene la decisión política y la firme voluntad de destrabar las obras que el Perú necesita. “En las últimas semanas hemos dado pasos sustantivos para impulsar las grandes obras que requiere nuestro país. Venimos trabajando para lograr que el Perú recupere su capacidad de crecimiento económico”, aseveró.

Destacó, asimismo, la labor que viene desempeñando la Policía Nacional en su lucha contra la delincuencia y la criminalidad. “La inseguridad ciudadana es un desafío que estamos decididos a encarar este año con mayor firmeza y rigor, con más recursos, con un marco legal mucho más potente, con el respaldo de las instituciones y la unidad del pueblo peruano”, subrayó.

Seguidamente, la mandataria resaltó el avance que se está dando en su gestión en el cierre de brechas sociales y de infraestructura, con lo que se apunta a mejorar la calidad de vida de las peruanas y peruanos.

Detalló que entre las obras que se han ejecutado en las primeras semanas del 2024 resaltan la instalación de puentes, la construcción de viviendas y centros educativos y la masificación de conexiones de gas natural, con lo que se busca, en paralelo, dinamizar los niveles de inversión pública a nivel nacional.

“Hemos empezado con buen pie el 2024, pues en enero la inversión pública en los tres niveles de gobierno registró un crecimiento cercano al 137%. Tenemos que mantener e incrementar este nivel de ejecución presupuestal, priorizando la atención a los sectores más vulnerables”, anotó.
