De esta manera los ciudadanos pueden acceder a más de 60 servicios de más de 20 entidades públicas como el Banco de la Nación, el Registro Nacional de Identificación y Estado Civil (Reniec), la Oficina Nacional de Procesos Electorales (ONPE), el Seguro Integral de Salud (SIS), el Poder Judicial y el Instituto Nacional Penitenciario (INPE), entre otros.

El módulo MAC Express es un aplicativo virtual, diseñado e implementado por la PCM, a través de la Secretaría de Gestión Pública, y se instala en los equipos de cómputo que utilizan las municipalidades, los tambos y las plataformas itinerantes de acción social (PIAS) para la atención al ciudadano.

Su funcionamiento, así como su instalación, no representa mayor gasto para los municipios y fortalece la alianza estratégica entre el Ejecutivo y los gobiernos locales, a fin de brindar mejores servicios públicos.

Durante 2023 se instalaron 24 MAC Express en las regiones de Piura, Amazonas, La Libertad, Loreto, Huancavelica, Huánuco, Áncash, Junín, Cusco, entre otros. Para el presente año, la PCM ha previsto implementar diez módulos MAC Express, lo que permitirá cubrir cada una de las regiones del país con sus servicios.
