En la cita, realizada en la sala Túpac Amaru, se abordaron temas relacionados a los planes y operativos de seguridad ciudadana y a la instalación de mayor infraestructura para la Policía Nacional.
“Se invitará a los representantes del Poder Judicial y del Ministerio Público de Arequipa, así como a la Policía Nacional de la región, para tomar acciones eficaces en esta lucha contra la delincuencia y el crimen organizado. En unidad lograremos los objetivos”, remarcó.
“Es muy importante que trabajemos de manera responsable y unidos”, manifestó la jefa de Estado, quien pidió a todos que se pongan la camiseta para “salir a defender a los 33 millones de peruanos”.
Anunció, asimismo, que mañana se analizará en el Consejo de Ministros la declaratoria del estado de emergencia de la región Arequipa.
En la reunión participaron el ministro del Interior, Walter Ortiz Acosta; el alcalde provincial de Arequipa, Víctor Rivera Chávez, y el congresista Edwin Martínez Talavera.
Asimismo, se contó con la presencia de los burgomaestres Sergio Bolliger Marroquín, del distrito de Yanahuara; Fredy Zegarra Black, de José Luis Bustamante y Rivero; Juan Linares Cama, de Cayma; Marco Anco Huarachi, de Paucarpata; Alfredo Benavente Godoy, de Alto Selva Alegre; Germán Torres Chambi, de Miraflores; Óscar Ayala Arenas, de Mariano Melgar, y Hardin Abril Velarde, de Uchumayo.
