En ese sentido, la entidad adscrita al Ministerio de Transportes y Comunicaciones reitera las principales recomendaciones de conducción ante la presencia de neblina:

1. Mantén las luces bajas encendidas y activa las luces de emergencia. De esta manera podrás indicar tu ubicación a los conductores que se encuentran detrás, a fin de que mantengan una distancia de seguridad.
2. Reduce la velocidad de manera progresiva hasta mantener un tránsito seguro que te permita prevenir riesgos. Evita frenar de manera abrupta.
3. En caso de poca o nula visibilidad ubícate en la vía auxiliar o estaciónate en una zona segura de la carretera hasta que la niebla se despeje o la visibilidad te permita avanzar.
4. Evita en todo momento adelantar a otros vehículos o realizar maniobras peligrosas.
5. Aumenta la distancia de seguridad con el vehículo que te antecede.
6. Circula por el carril de la derecha y utiliza como guía el borde derecho del carril. Recuerda seguir en todo momento las indicaciones de la autoridad competente.
