Además, enfatizó la necesidad de aprovechar con responsabilidad social y ambiental los recursos mineros como el litio y el uranio, con el objetivo de beneficiar a los ciudadanos.

“También tiene una riqueza hídrica muy grande y muestra de ello son las hidroeléctricas San Gabán I y II, al que se sumará San Gabán 3, que está al 80% en el avance de las obras y que producirá más de 250 megavatios de energía”, añadió.

IMPULSO LA EDUCACIÓN DE CARABAYA
Asimismo, el titular de la Presidencia del Consejo de Ministros (PCM) destacó las oportunidades que ofrecerá la creación de la Universidad Nacional de Carabaya a todos los jóvenes de la región.

“Próximamente se constituirá la comisión encargada de la organización de la universidad, a la que se le dotará de los recursos presupuestales suficientes para empiece su tarea”, manifestó.

COMPROMISO CON LAS INVESTIGACIONES
Previamente, en un discurso ante la ciudadanía, el jefe del Gabinete Ministerial expresó su respeto a todos los deudos de las personas que perdieron la vida durante las protestas sociales de diciembre del 2022 y enero del 2023.

“Les hacemos llegar nuestras condolencias y la promesa de que ninguno de estos sucesos quedará sin investigación” declaró.

Recordó el pedido de perdón de la mandataria por estos lamentables hechos, expresado en su mensaje a la nación de julio del 2023, y aseguró que se están brindando todas las facilidades para que las investigaciones continúen y se determinen responsables.

ARTICULACIÓN CON AUTORIDADES DE CARABAYA
La jornada inició con una reunión con autoridades locales de Carabaya que encabezó el viceministro de Gobernanza Territorial de la PCM, Juan Haro, quien recogió las principales necesidades de cada una de las jurisdicciones.

“Las líneas maestras de esta gestión son la reactivación económica y la seguridad ciudadana. Confiamos que con la recuperación del crecimiento tendremos más posibilidades para cerrar las brechas en beneficio de la población”, comentó.

En el encuentro contó con la participación del alcalde Cáceres y de los burgomaestres de los distritos de Crucero, Jaime Huisa; Corani, Patricio Dávila; Ituata, Emiliano Saya; Ollachea, José Apucusi; Coasa, Jesús Choquenaira; Usicayos, Wilfredo Quispe; San Gabán, Antonio Escobar; Ayapata, Ermilio Jarata, y el representante del municipio del distrito de Ajoyani.
