“Me contactaré con el alcalde provincial del Callao, Pedro Spadaro, y su homólogo de Lima, Rafael López Aliaga, para hallar soluciones a los obstáculos que enfrenta esta megaobra”, indicó el jefe del Gabinete Ministerial tras la supervisión que realizó a las instalaciones de la Línea 2 en Santa Anita y a la marcha blanca en las cinco estaciones operativas de Línea 2: Mercado Santa Anita, Hermilio Valdizán, Colectora Industrial, Óvalo Santa Anita y Evitamiento.

Enfatizó que el país atraviesa un periodo de crecimiento y desarrollo, lo que requiere de la mayor colaboración de las entidades municipales, y reiteró la disposición del Gobierno nacional para recuperar el tiempo y cumplir con el cronograma que se había previsto inicialmente.

“Tendremos que soportar, por unos cortos periodos de tiempo, algunas interrupciones en las vías superficiales. Esto es para bien, porque hoy estamos dejando algo bueno para tener algo mejor mañana”, añadió.

En esa línea, remarcó la necesidad de poner en funcionamiento la Estación Central en la brevedad posible, así como lograr el destrabe de la Estación Quilca, en el Callao, a fin de que las tuneladoras continúen con los trabajos.

El titular de la Presidencia del Consejo de Ministros (PCM) subrayó que la Línea 2 del Metro de Lima es una obra emblemática, propia del Bicentenario de la Independencia del Perú, que permitirá conectar en Lima Este con el Callao en menor tiempo.

“Estamos frente a una obra que jamás se ha hecho en el Perú y que permitirá cubrir en 45 minutos una ruta que actualmente toma 2 horas y media, aproximadamente. Con ello reduciremos considerablemente la pérdida de horas hombre”, declaró.

El premier Adrianzén informó que la marcha blanca de la Línea 2, que hasta el momento ha beneficiado a 5.5. millones de traslados de usuarios, será extendida hasta agosto del presente año.

La Línea 2 del Metro de Lima y Callao es un corredor ferroviario subterráneo de este a oeste, de 27 kilómetros, con 27 estaciones entre el Puerto del Callao y la Municipalidad de Ate, y que contará con 42 trenes que al inicio podrán trasladar más de 660 mil pasajeros por día.

Along these lines, he highlighted the need to put the Central Station into operation as soon as possible, as well as to unblock the Quilca Station, in Callao, so that the tunnel boring machines can continue with the work.

The head of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers (PCM) stressed that Line 2 of the Lima Metro is an emblematic work, typical of the Bicentennial of the Independence of Peru, which will allow connecting East Lima with Callao in less time.

“We are facing a work that has never been done in Peru and that will allow us to cover in 45 minutes a route that currently takes approximately 2 and a half hours. With this we will considerably reduce the loss of man hours,” he declared.

Premier Adrianzén reported that the white march of Line 2, which so far has benefited 5.5. million user transfers, will be extended until August of this year.
