Al presentar un balance de gestión de diciembre 2023 a octubre 2024, la mandataria fue enfática al señalar que aquellos extranjeros que no cumplan con las normativas migratorias y financieras serán expulsados del territorio nacional.

“A los extranjeros que están en el país les decimos que los botaremos del territorio nacional; no les permitiremos que se queden un día más. Se han desactivado 78 bandas criminales, y se capturó a más de 1800 delincuentes”, aseveró. Asimismo, subrayó el trabajo conjunto entre las fuerzas del orden y el Estado en la lucha contra la delincuencia.

La mandataria informó que se implementarán cambios en el sistema de migraciones y se llevará a cabo un seguimiento estricto en el sistema financiero y las remesas enviadas fuera del país. “Les vamos a hacer seguimiento financiero, al que no responde de manera cierta, le vamos a caer”, advirtió.

En línea con las medidas de control, también se fiscalizarán los alquileres de viviendas, en coordinación con la Sunat. “Caminaremos con la Sunat para controlar a los que alquilan y a los que no demuestran de dónde vienen sus ingresos”, puntualizó.

LLAMADO A LA UNIDAD
En otro punto de su intervención, la jefa de Estado hizo un llamado a la unidad de todos los peruanos para proteger el crecimiento económico del país, destacando la fortaleza de la moneda nacional y la estabilidad en el abastecimiento de productos. “El Perú nos necesita a todos unidos y no divididos”, subrayó.

Frente al paro de transportistas convocado para mañana, la presidenta invocó a la unidad nacional para resolver los problemas de seguridad ciudadana que enfrenta el país.

CRECIMIENTO
En otro momento, la jefa de Estado destacó que en agosto último, el PBI creció 3,5 %, y entre enero y dicho mes se alcanzaron tasas superiores al 5 %. “Nos dirigimos con paso firme hacia una expansión promedio superior al 3 % al cierre del 2024”, señaló.

Indicó que este crecimiento ha sido impulsado por sectores clave como la minería, manufactura, pesca y agroexportación, lo que ha permitido un incremento del empleo formal. Entre enero y agosto se registraron 5,8 millones de puestos de trabajo formal, un aumento del 1,6 % en comparación con el mismo periodo del 2023.

Seguidamente, la presidenta también resaltó los avances en materia de inversión pública, que en septiembre superó los 36 623 millones de soles, un 24 % más que el año anterior.

Entre los proyectos destacados se encuentran la tercera etapa de Chavimochic, el proyecto minero Tía María, y la adjudicación del Ferrocarril Huancayo-Huancavelica. “Estos proyectos no solo elevarán la competitividad del Perú, sino que también garantizarán la seguridad alimentaria y generarán miles de empleos”, afirmó.

En cuanto a la infraestructura social, la jefa de Estado mencionó la construcción de 83 proyectos de salud, 41 colegios y el impulso de proyectos de agua potable y alcantarillado en varias regiones del país. En vivienda, destacó la entrega de bonos y créditos que han permitido reducir la brecha habitacional urbana en un 6.1%.

Finalmente, resaltó la ampliación del Muelle Bicentenario en el Callao y el avance en las obras de la Línea 2 del Metro de Lima, reafirmando su compromiso con el desarrollo del país y la mejora de la calidad de vida de los peruanos.
