El nuevo programa, que significa comida casera, es una estrategia que prioriza la alimentación de calidad para más de 4 millones de niñas y niños peruanos, y cuenta con el respaldo de organizaciones internacionales como el Programa Mundial de Alimentos, la Agencia de las Naciones Unidas para la Alimentación y Agricultura y el Fondo de las Naciones Unidas para la Infancia.

Además de organizaciones nacionales como el Colegio de Nutricionistas del Perú, la Asociación Peruana de Consumidores y Usuarios, la Sociedad Nacional de Industrias y la participación de padres y madres de familia en la preparación de los alimentos y como miembros del consejo directivo.

En otro momento, la mandataria aseguró que en su gobierno hay una política de amor y cariño para los estudiantes peruanos y aseguró que nada los va a detener en ese esfuerzo.

Asimismo, se refirió a la necesidad de trabajar sin corrupción diciendo: “Aquel que ose tocar un solo sol del erario nacional debe ser expulsado de la gracia de Dios, porque no se puede permitir que se toque un sol destinado a la educación, a la salud, a la agricultura, a la infraestructura. Con tanta necesidad que hay en nuestra patria no nos podemos dar el lujo de contemplar a corruptos y corruptores”.

Boluarte recordó que a los 19 años fue maestra suplente en Cotaruse, Aymaraes, en Apurímac y los padres le encargaron el plan de alimentación, como se llamaba en esa época. “Organicé a los padres de familia y ofrecimos alimentación nutritiva y siempre con las manos limpias, no toque ni un grano de arroz para llevar a mi casa, jamás, porque es sagrado el alimento de la población y es más sagrado el alimento de la educación”, aseguró.
