Fueron en total nueve lotes los que se entregaron mes tras mes, desde marzo del presente año hasta la fecha en históricas ceremonias ejecutadas en el frontis del palacio municipal, y con la presencia de autoridades principales. “Primera etapa cumplida general Enrique Felipe Monroy, aquí comienza la guerra ya tiene el equipamiento para atacar de manera poderosa al terrorismo urbana”, señaló el alcalde Rafael López Aliaga.

Los efectivos policiales recibieron 2691 motos, mientras que los miembros del Serenazgo, 1309, todas bien equipadas y con los colores respectivos que caracterizan a los agentes del orden municipal (azul) y a la Policía Nacional del Perú (rojo, blanco, verde oscuro y negro).

Durante la última entrega de 400 vehículos menores se beneficiaron las Divisiones Policiales de la Región Policial Lima, Dirección de Tránsito y Seguridad Vial, como también, las municipalidades distritales de Ancón, Breña, Independencia y Cercado de Lima.

La comuna limeña viene trabajando intensamente para brindar más seguridad a los ciudadanos, conjuntamente con la PNP, equipándolos con herramientas modernas, como estas modernas motocicletas para ejecutar sus acciones de patrullajes y operativos en el marco de la lucha contra la delincuencia.
