Este programa, que tiene como objetivo, fortalecer la valoración de la diversidad cultural y la valoración del patrimonio cultural, es una iniciativa que integra museos, arte y patrimonio, a través de actividades artísticas culturales desarrolladas por los museos administrado por el sector, que permite el ingreso gratuito a más de 50 museos, lugares históricos y sitios arqueológicos del país.
De esta manera, podrán participar este domingo 5 de enero de 65 actividades culturales presenciales y virtuales preparadas en las diferentes regiones del país, entre las que destacan las visitas guiadas, talleres de danza, concursos, expo-venta de artesanía popular y libros. También podrán disfrutar libremente del patrimonio y legado que se protege en estos lugares.
En Lima, se podrá visitar el Museo Nacional de Arqueología, Antropología e Historia del Perú, Museo “José Carlos Mariátegui”, el Museo Nacional de la Cultura Peruana, el Museo de Arte Italiano y el Museo de Sitio Pucllana en Miraflores.
Además del Museo Pachacamac en Lurín, el Museo de Sitio Huallamarca en San Isidro y el Museo de Sitio “Arturo Jiménez Borja” – Puruchuco en Ate.
Asimismo, en esta primera edición del año 2025, también contaremos con el Palacio de Torre Tagle, sede del Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores, que se sumó al programa Museos Abiertos.
Allí, el público podrá disfrutar de visitas guiadas por las instalaciones del inmueble declarado Patrimonio Cultural de la Nación, de 4:00 p. m. a 7:00 p. m.
El programa Museos Abiertos brinda acceso gratuito a los museos, sitios arqueológicos y lugares históricos administrados por el Estado, gracias a la Ley 30599, promulgada en el año 2017.
