Durante la ceremonia oficial realizada en la Sala Eléspuru de Palacio de Gobierno, el nuevo titular del Ministerio del Interior (Mininter) formalizó el acto protocolar con un sonoro “sí, juro”, comprometiéndose a desempeñar fielmente el cargo que le fue conferido.
El nuevo ministro es Licenciado en Educación con especialidad en Lengua y Literatura, Bachiller en Administración y Ciencias Policiales, titulado con una Maestría en Defensa y Desarrollo Nacional (CAEN) y otra en Administración, Ciencias Policiales y Gestión Pública.
Con más de 40 años de trayectoria en el sector público, ha centrado su labor en Seguridad Ciudadana y Trabajo Comunitario.
Es autor del libro “Relatos de Éxito de un Comisario”. A lo largo de su carrera, fue reconocido como ganador de la Comisaría del Año a nivel nacional en 2001 y finalista en varias ocasiones en los premios de Buenas Prácticas en Gestión Pública.
Además de su experiencia policial, ha impartido clases en la Escuela Nacional de Formación Profesional y ha ejercido como asesor de seguridad ciudadana en gobiernos regionales.
