Agencia Peruana de Noticias PRENSAPERU.PE https://prensaperu.pe/ Twitter: @prensaperupe Con la finalidad de imponer el principio de autoridad en diversos penales de Lima y Callao, y evitar actos delictivos a nivel nacional, el Ministerio de Justicia y Derechos Humanos (MINJUSDH) y el Instituto Nacional Penitenciario (INPE) ejecutaron un megaoperativo simultáneo en diversos penales de la capital.

De manera inopinada, se allanaron diversas celdas en los penales de Lurigancho, Callao y Castro Castro, hasta donde llegaron el ministro Eduardo Arana, el viceministro de Derechos Humanos y Acceso a la Justicia, Charles Napurí, y el secretario general del MINJUSDH, George Otsu.

La medida, que se enmarca en las disposiciones efectuadas por la presidenta, Dina Boluarte, desde el Cuarto de Guerra contra la delincuencia, buscó reducir la comisión de delitos, neutralizar acciones de organizaciones criminales y fortalecer la seguridad ciudadana.

En Castro Castro se intervinieron a 389 internos del pabellón 12, clasificados de mediana seguridad. Ahí estuvo el ministro Arana junto al presidente del INPE, Javier Llaque; el general de Brigada Julio César Guzmán Flores del Ejército del Perú; y el director de Fronteras de la Policía Nacional del Perú (PNP), general Carlo Enrique Mori; quienes lideraron un pelotón de 60 efectivos del Grupo de Operaciones Especiales (GOES) más agentes de la Policía Nacional y Ejército.

“Por disposición de la presidenta de la república, y en coordinación con el INPE, la Policía Nacional y el Ejército Peruano estamos realizando esta inspección. Estas medidas se vienen realizando con frecuencia y ahora, con el Estado de Emergencia, las estamos intensificando”, sostuvo el ministro Eduardo Arana.

“El Ejército y la Policía Nacional brindan apoyo a todas las acciones y operaciones que ayuden a la lucha contra la criminalidad y otorguen seguridad a la población”, agregó -por su parte- el presidente del INPE.

Durante el operativo, personal del INPE, PNP y EP revisó celdas, patios, pasadizos, áreas comunes, y realizó revisión corporal a la población penal, a fin de hallar artículos y sustancias ilícitas.

“The Army and the National Police provide support to all actions and operations that help fight crime and provide security to the population,” added the president of the INPE.

During the operation, INPE, PNP, and EP personnel inspected cells, courtyards, hallways, and common areas, and performed body searches on the prison population to identify illicit items and substances.
