“Estamos librando una guerra contra el terrorismo urbano, contra estas redes criminales que solo pretenden sumir a los peruanos en el terror para alimentar sus economías ilegales. El Gobierno no va a ceder, no vamos a retroceder ni darles respiro a los delincuentes”, subrayó el jefe del Gabinete Ministerial.
En esa línea, el premier Adrianzén anunció que, en las últimas 24 horas, la Policía Nacional ha desplegado más de 2400 efectivos en 555 operativos en Lima y Callao, lo que permitió la captura de 243 delincuentes, la desarticulación de 18 bandas criminales y la incautación de armas, explosivos y drogas, en el marco del estado de emergencia.
Junto a ministros de Estado y altos mandos de la Policía y las Fuerzas Armadas, el titular de la Presidencia del Consejo de Ministros (PCM) destacó la importancia del “Cuarto de Guerra” como un espacio clave para analizar y evaluar las acciones que buscan devolverle la paz y la confianza a la población.
FORTALECEN LUCHA CONTRA LA DELINCUENCIA EN PENALES
Como parte de este esfuerzo, el Ejecutivo anunció un conjunto de medidas para reforzar la lucha contra el crimen, entre ellas, más operativos en penales de Lima y Callao, incluyendo centros juveniles y el penal de mujeres.
En ese marco, el ministro de Justicia y Derechos Humanos, Eduardo Arana, informó que se están impulsando una serie de decretos supremos para erradicar antenas telefónicas más allá de los 200 metros del perímetro penitenciario, evitando el uso de celulares en actividades delictivas desde las cárceles.
Asimismo, anunció que se reformará el Código Procesal Penal para que personal del INPE, en presencia de fiscales o la Policía, pueda acceder de manera inmediata a la información de celulares incautados en operativos.
Finalmente, se creará una franja informativa en medios de comunicación, que obligará a difundir las acciones del Gobierno en la lucha contra la delincuencia durante el estado de emergencia.
RESULTADOS DE OPERATIVOS EN LIMA Y CALLAO
En otro momento, el comandante general de la PNP, Víctor Zanabria, detalló que, en Lima Norte, se logró la desarticulación de tres bandas, con 41 detenidos. En Lima Sur, se capturó a un presunto extorsionador que estaría amenazando a negocios de Surco. En el Callao, se detuvo a cuatro implicados en tráfico de drogas y tenencia ilegal de armas.
Además, en operativos contra la explotación sexual realizados en Puente Piedra, Ate y Ancón, se logró desmantelar la banda “Tintaya”, con la detención de 25 personas y el rescate de 53 mujeres, 13 de ellas peruanas y 40 extranjeras.
Al término de la sesión, el premier Adrianzén hizo un llamado a la unidad de todos los peruanos para enfrentar la inseguridad, resaltando que esta lucha es de toda la sociedad: “No permitiremos que el miedo nos paralice. Los peruanos merecemos vivir en paz y trabajamos día y noche para lograrlo. Esta batalla la ganaremos con el esfuerzo de todos”, afirmó.

STRENGTHENING THE FIGHT AGAINST CRIME IN PRISONS
As part of this effort, the Executive Branch announced a series of measures to strengthen the fight against crime, including more operations in prisons in Lima and Callao, including juvenile centers and the women’s prison.
In this context, the Minister of Justice and Human Rights, Eduardo Arana, reported that a series of supreme decrees are being promoted to eradicate telephone antennas beyond 200 meters of the prison perimeter, preventing the use of cell phones in criminal activities from prisons.
He also announced that the Criminal Procedure Code will be reformed so that INPE personnel, in the presence of prosecutors or the police, can immediately access information on cell phones seized during operations.

On another occasion, the General Commander of the PNP, Víctor Zanabria, detailed that, in North Lima, three gangs were dismantled, resulting in 41 arrests. In South Lima, an alleged extortionist was captured who was allegedly threatening businesses in Surco. In Callao, four individuals involved in drug trafficking and illegal weapons possession were arrested.
