La visita inicia hoy con la llegada del mandatario panameño al Grupo Aéreo N° 8, en el Callao, donde fue recibido por el ministro de Relaciones Exteriores del Perú, Elmer Schialer. Durante su estadía, el presidente Mulino participará en diversos actos protocolares y reuniones de alto nivel.
El viernes 11 de abril, el jefe de Estado panameño rendirá homenaje a los Próceres y Precursores de la Independencia, en Jesús María, y posteriormente será recibido con honores militares en Palacio de Gobierno por la presidenta de la República. Allí sostendrá una reunión privada, un encuentro ampliado de trabajo y será condecorado con el Gran Collar de la Orden “El Sol del Perú”, la más alta distinción que otorga el Estado peruano a personalidades extranjeras.
Finalmente, el domingo 13 de abril, el mandatario panameño culminará su visita oficial partiendo desde el Grupo Aéreo N° 8 rumbo a Panamá, tras una estadía que simboliza la cercanía histórica y la voluntad de seguir construyendo un futuro común entre ambos países.
