Hizo esta exhortación luego de que el comandante general de la PNP, Víctor Zanabria, le informara sobre un operativo realizado en un búnker en el distrito de Ate, donde se capturó a presuntos delincuentes extranjeros. Sin embargo, una fiscal dispuso la liberación de los 16 detenidos que habían sido puestos a disposición del Ministerio Público.
“Señores de la Junta Nacional de Justicia, cuando reciban nuestras quejas y denuncias, actúen, por favor. La seguridad de todos los peruanos y peruanas no depende únicamente de la Policía Nacional ni está solo en manos del Ejecutivo. También, y sobre todo, recae en el Ministerio Público y el Poder Judicial”, enfatizó.
Lamentó que el Ministerio Público disponga la liberación de presuntos delincuentes de manera casi inmediata, sin considerar el esfuerzo que realiza el Poder Ejecutivo, junto con la Policía Nacional, para capturar a los criminales que siembran el terror en las calles.
“Hay un esfuerzo significativo, con un amplio despliegue de recursos, para concretar estas capturas e intervenciones, tal como lo informábamos en el Cuarto de Guerra. Sin embargo, estos esfuerzos no se ven reflejados en los resultados esperados, porque los delincuentes que logramos capturar terminan siendo liberados”, remarcó.
En ese marco, hizo un llamado enérgico a la Fiscal de la Nación para que investigue a sus fiscales que realizando estos actos atentan contra el bienestar de la ciudadanía.
“Estamos aquí, en Lima y Callao, en estado de emergencia. Dentro del marco legal, nuestra Policía, con apoyo del Ejército, sale a capturar delincuentes armados, con cocaína, marihuana o incluso granadas de guerra. Los ponemos a disposición de las autoridades. ¿Y qué hacen sus fiscales, señora fiscal de la Nación? Los liberan. Eso no puede ser”, subrayó”.
La jefa de Estado hizo estas declaraciones tras inspeccionar la construcción de la nueva Escuela de Oficiales de la PNP en Chorrillos, obra que estuvo abandonada seis años y que ahora avanza para que el próximo año reciba a los nuevos cadetes que tendrán una moderna preparación.

She made this call after the Commander-in-Chief of the PNP, Víctor Zanabria, informed her about an operation carried out in a bunker in the district of Ate, where alleged foreign criminals were captured. However, a prosecutor ordered the release of the 16 detainees who had been placed at the disposal of the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
“Gentlemen of the National Justice Board, when you receive our complaints and reports, please act. The safety of all Peruvians does not depend solely on the National Police, nor is it solely in the hands of the Executive Branch. It also, and above all, rests with the Public Prosecutor’s Office and the Judiciary,” she emphasized.
She lamented that the Public Prosecutor’s Office ordered the release of suspected criminals almost immediately, without considering the efforts made by the Executive Branch, together with the National Police, to capture the criminals who sow terror in the streets.
“There is a significant effort, with extensive resources, to carry out these arrests and interventions, as we reported in the War Room. However, these efforts are not reflected in the expected results, because the criminals we manage to capture end up being released,” he emphasized.
In this context, he strongly called on the Attorney General’s Office to investigate its prosecutors who, by carrying out these acts, threaten the well-being of citizens.
“We are here, in Lima and Callao, in a state of emergency. Within the legal framework, our Police, with the support of the Army, go out to capture armed criminals, with cocaine, marijuana, or even live grenades. We hand them over to the authorities. And what do your prosecutors do, Madam Attorney General? They release them. That cannot be,” she emphasized.
The head of state made these statements after inspecting the construction of the new PNP Officers’ School in Chorrillos, a project that was abandoned for six years and is now moving forward so that next year it will receive the new cadets who will receive modern training.
