On the one hand, an innovative proposal in the healthy food industry that has been recognized internationally; and on the other, the growth of a veterinary pharmaceutical company that is expanding its production capacity to meet a steadily rising demand.

I.- GOLECORP TAKES FIRST PLACE AT EXPOALIMENTARIA INNOVATION AWARDS WITH ITS PREBIOTIC SODA FIZELA

The Peruvian company Golecorp S.A.C., specializing in the production and marketing of healthy and digestive beverages, won first place in the 15th Expoalimentaria 2026 Innovation Contest, in the Beverages and Spirits category, with its innovative proposal: the muña and lemon flavored prebiotic soda called “Fizela”.

The product is distinguished by containing inulin, a soluble dietary fiber derived from the chicory plant, as well as fructooligosaccharides, allulose, yacón syrup, Maras salt, mint, muña, and lemon. Its formula has been designed to offer a beverage alternative that, besides being refreshing, contributes to digestive well-being.

Regarding this, the company’s Commercial Manager, Leonardo Lamas, explained that the initiative arose upon identifying that the local market did not offer a beverage with ingredients focused on digestive health. Over six months they worked on developing the formula, through tests, adjustments, and focus groups, until achieving the final version recognized in the contest. In the coming weeks they will introduce grapefruit with rosemary, and by the end of 2026 they plan to launch two additional varieties.
