Esta semana la respuesta firme y meridanamente virtuosa fue la de la que será la Primera Dama del Perú, al señalarle a una reportera cuando esta le preguntaba ¿ahora ustedes ya están pensando en el momento de que se pueda realizar ya toda la juramentación del electo presidente. Lilia Ulcida Paredes Navarro es docente y miembro de la Iglesia Cristiana del Nazareno, natural de Tacabamba, está casada desde hace 21 años con su colega el profesor José Pedro Castillo Terrones, con quien tiene tres hijos: Arnold, Alondra y Jennifer. La pareja presidencial se conocen hace más de cuatro décadas en su natal Cajamarca.

Pedro, a quien ella llama José, estudiaba en la escuela primaria N° 10465 de Puña, distrito de Chugur en la provincia de Hualgayoc, Cajamarca, pero abandonaría sus estudios durante dos años porque su padre lo llevaba a trabajar.

La hoy futura Primera dama, señala que José como ella lo llama (presidente electo) tardaba dos horas diarias en caminar desde el caserío de Tacabamba, donde vivía, hasta llegar a su centro educativo. Más adelante estudiarían juntos la secundaria en el colegio Arturo Osores Cabrera, ubicado en el centro poblado de Anguia en Chota. “Bueno, fue cosa del destino, que el colegio nos juntó. Nos conocimos en el primer año de secundaria y estudiamos juntos durante cinco años. En dos turnos en la mañana y por la tarde”, relató Paredes.

El afecto entre ambos surgiría en el último año de secundaria, en 1989.
