Agencia Peruana de Noticias PRENSAPERU.PE https://prensaperu.pe Twitter: @prensaperupe En víspera de la reunión de la Comunidad de Estados Latinoamericanos y Caribeños el presidente de los Estados Unidos Mexicanos mantuvo diálogo concienzudo con los presidentes de Costa Rica, Carlos Alvarado Quesada; de Guatemala, Alejandro Giammattei Falla; de Guyana, Mohamed Irfaan Ali; de Honduras, Juan Orlando Hernández Alvarado y de Perú, José Pedro Castillo Terrones.

En cuanto a lo económico y comercial, les propuso que junto con Estados Unidos y Canadá se inicie la construcción de un acuerdo y se firme un tratado para fortalecer el mercado interno en el continente, que en la actualidad es deficitario en relación con Europa y sobre todo,con respecto a Asia.

Los mandatarios de las naciones de Costa Rica, Guatemala, Guyana, Honduras y de Perú; mostraron mucho interés en esta propuesta, ya que actualmente en América contamos con apenas el 24 por ciento de la población de Asia; sin embargo, consumimos el 20 por ciento más que en aquel continente, por lo que se deduce que el consumo per cápita de América es de 23 mil 347 dólares anuales, mientras en Asia es de cuatro mil 716 dólares, aunque esta proporción se ha venido reduciendo ante el estancamiento productivo en América y el impulso fabril y comercial de los países de Asia.

El gobernante mexicano sostuvo a los presidentes de estas naciones que las ventajas de esta propuesta son muchas, ya que entre otras, contamos con fuerza de trabajo joven y creativa; hay buen desarrollo tecnológico; somos un continente rico en recursos naturales, con una amplia diversidad cultural; las distancias entre nuestros países nos permiten ahorrar en fletes y, reitero, existe suficiente demanda de mercancías en nuestros mercados.

Sólo se requiere hacer una planeación conjunta con la participación de organismos como la Comisión Económica para América Latina y el Caribe, la Cepal; el Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo, el BID; y otros, y pedir a estas instituciones la elaboración de un plan con el objetivo superior de promover la comunidad económica (falla de transmisión)

La propuesta es sencilla. Se trata de reactivar pronto la economía en nuestro continente para producir en América lo que consumimos.

De otro lado los gobernantes durante la reunión con su anfitrión andrés Manuel López Obrador, coincidieron en respetar las decisiones internas de los pueblos y que ningún gobierno se arrogue la facultad de someter a otro país bajo ningún motivo, causa o pretexto, o mediante la utilización del dinero, la propaganda, las sanciones económicas y diplomáticas, o el uso de la fuerza.

Que las controversias sobre democracia y derechos humanos se diriman a petición de las partes en instancias verdaderamente neutrales, creadas por los países de América, y que la última palabra la tengan las agencias especializadas de la Organización de las Naciones Unidas.

Finalmente la propuesta de México a las naciones del continente tiene como base la integración productiva con dimensión social debe contar con el componente de inversión para el bienestar de todos los pueblos de América bajo el criterio de que el progreso sin justicia es retroceso. Se trata de ir hacia la modernidad, pero forjada desde abajo y para todos.

López Obrador más conocido como AMLO indicó que piensa que es el momento de terminar con el letargo y plantear una nueva y vigorosa relación entre los pueblos de América y los Estados Unidos y Canadá, me parece que es tiempo de sustituir la política de bloqueos y de malos tratos por la opción de respetarnos, caminar juntos y asociarnos por el bien de América sin vulnerar nuestras soberanías.

Tal como lo propondré en la asamblea plena de la Celac, sostuvo AMLO a los presidentes de las naciones con quien previamente se reunió, estoy seguro que el presidente Joe Biden y la vicepresidenta Kamala Harris, así como el primer ministro de Canadá, Justin Trudeau, estarán atentos a las propuestas de consenso que logremos establecer en este foro para actuar en bien de nuestros respetables pueblos.
