Los proyectos comprenden el mejoramiento de la infraestructura y ampliación de los servicios educativos tanto en instituciones de nivel inicial, como de primaria, secundaria e institutos superiores pedagógicos públicos.

Mediante la ejecución de dichas obras, se busca optimizar la calidad educativa de los alumnos de las jurisdicciones beneficiarias en el marco del reinicio de las clases escolares presenciales.

Del total del importe, 31 millones 178,470 soles son para proyectos a cargo de los gobiernos regionales, y 61 millones 623,549 soles para los ejecutados por gobiernos locales, entre provinciales y distritales.

En el caso de gobiernos regionales, figuran Amazonas, Apurímac, Cusco, Huánuco, Junín, Madre de Dios, Puno y San Martín.

Entre los gobiernos locales se encuentran San Jerónimo, Tapairihua, Challhuahuacho y Virundo, en Apurímac; Yura, en Arequipa; Chiara, Chungui, Santa Rosa, Canaria y Vilcanchos, en Ayacucho; Jaén, Pomahuaca, Santa Rosa, San Ignacio, La Coipa y San Miguel, en Cajamarca.

Asimismo, Lamay, Taray, Layo, Coporaque y Quellouno, en Cusco; Paucará, en Huancavelica; Amarilis, Churubamba, Ambo, San Rafael, Monzón, Hermilio Valdizán, en Huánuco; San Lorenzo y Tres de Diciembre, en Junín; Longotea y Chugay, en La Libertad.

También Pimentel, en La Libertad; Balsapuerto, en Loreto; Samegua, en Moquegua; Cura Mori, Veintiséis de Octubre, Paita y Bernal, en Piura; Achaya, en Puno; y Jepelacio, en San Martín, entre otros.

La transferencia de los más de 92 millones de soles fue establecida mediante el Decreto Supremo Nº 257-2021-EF, publicado en el Boletín de Normas Legales del Diario Oficial El Peruano.

La norma lleva la rúbrica del presidente de la República, Pedro Castillo Terrones; y del ministro de Economía y Finanzas, Pedro Francke.

Los recursos transferidos no pueden ser destinados, bajo responsabilidad, a fines distintos para los cuales fueron autorizados.
