“Reconocemos que históricamente mujeres y niñas han sido violentadas, dominadas y sometidas, y por el hecho de ser mujer, más que el varón, hemos sufrido discriminación en una sociedad que es machista, sexista, homofóbica y racista”, señaló.

La magistrada suprema participó en el IV Encuentro de Mujeres Lideresas Andinas realizado en la ciudad de Jauja (Junín) por el “Día Internacional de las Mujeres Rurales”.

PROMOTORAS DE CAMBIO
Dirigiéndose al auditorio, conformado por decenas de lideresas rurales, Tello Gilardi les dijo que ellas deben ser promotoras de cambio con el enfoque de igualdad de derechos entre mujeres y varones.

En otro momento, la magistrada señaló que la discriminación y violencia de género se agravó con la pandemia donde las mujeres y niñas víctimas de violencia tuvieron que mantenerse encerradas con sus agresores en el propio hogar.

“Hasta agosto de este año hay registrados más de 60 mil casos atendidos sobre violencia familiar, de los cuales un buen porcentaje es por violencia sexual que involucra a los mismos integrantes de la familia”, señaló.

También recordó que, de enero a octubre de 2021, se han producido cerca 110 feminicidios los cuales son investigados por el Ministerio Público, entre ellos el cometido en Huancavelica contra una adolescente de catorce años.

En ese sentido, las conminó a que, desde el lugar donde se encuentren, como lideresas rurales, luchen siempre en cualquier circunstancia para garantizar los derechos de las mujeres.

El encuentro de lideresas andinas fue organizado por la Corte Superior de Junín, a través de la Comisión Distrital de Acceso a la Justicia, conjuntamente con la Municipalidad Provincial de Jauja.

En el certamen estuvieron presentes el presidente de la referida corte, Luis Miguel Samaniego Cornelio, así como el alcalde provincial, César Dávila Véliz, quien dio las palabras de bienvenida, entre otras autoridades políticas y judiciales.

ACTIVIDADES
Durante el evento, hubo la representación de una ceremonia ancestral de Reciprocidad a la Madre Tierra ofrecida por las sacerdotisas andinas Sonia Astuhuamán y Marlene Chuquillanqui.

También fueron presentadas ponencias sobre el derecho a la identidad de la mujer, su aporte al mundo andino, así como informes y propuestas de las lideresas de las distintas zonas de la Región Junín.

Las palabras de clausura del evento estuvieron a cargo de la magistrada Teresa Cárdenas Puente, jueza especializada de Familia de la Corte de Junín, tras la lectura de la Carta por los Derechos de la Mujer Rural, aprobada por las lideresas participantes.

The Supreme Magistrate participated in the IV Meeting of Andean Women Leaders held in the city of Jauja (Junín) for the “International Day of Rural Women”.

CHANGE PROMOTERS
Addressing the audience, made up of dozens of rural leaders, Tello Gilardi told them that they must be promoters of change with a focus on equal rights between women and men.

At another point, the magistrate pointed out that gender discrimination and violence worsened with the pandemic, where women and girls who were victims of violence had to stay locked up with their aggressors in their own homes.

“Until August of this year there are registered more than 60 thousand cases attended on family violence, of which a good percentage is for sexual violence that involves the same members of the family,” he said.

He also recalled that, from January to October 2021, there have been about 110 femicides which are investigated by the Public Ministry, including the one committed in Huancavelica against a fourteen-year-old adolescent.

In that sense, he urged them to, from wherever they are, as rural leaders, always fight in any circumstance to guarantee women’s rights.

The meeting of Andean leaders was organized by the Superior Court of Junín, through the District Commission for Access to Justice, together with the Provincial Municipality of Jauja.

Present at the event were the president of the aforementioned court, Luis Miguel Samaniego Cornelio, as well as the provincial mayor, César Dávila Véliz, who gave the welcoming remarks, among other political and judicial authorities.

ACTIVITIES
During the event, there was the representation of an ancestral ceremony of Reciprocity to Mother Earth offered by the Andean priestesses Sonia Astuhuamán and Marlene Chuquillanqui.

Presentations were also presented on the right to identity of women, their contribution to the Andean world, as well as reports and proposals from the leaders of the different areas of the Junín Region.

The closing remarks of the event were given by Magistrate Teresa Cárdenas Puente, specialized Family Judge of the Junín Court, after reading the Charter for the Rights of Rural Women, approved by the participating leaders.
